Meme of the Month

Stolen directly from Ace of Spades HQ.

Build a "Wiggy Memorial" Prison at Vincent!

The Milwaukee Public Schools are more than a little bit defensive about spending Big Money on secondary things, and the truth hurts.

So, of course, they attack the truth-teller.

..."RightWisconsin" Editor James Wigderson's recent blog post focuses on the $5 million improvements to the athletic facilities at Milwaukee Vincent High School.

He told WISN 12 News the money could be put to better use on almost anything, but his reference to "little convicts" is getting all the attention.

"Milwaukee Vincent is a failing school. It should be shut down, not given a new stadium," Wigderson said. "We're not doing enough to educate these kids. We're keeping them trapped in these failing schools and we're worried about whether or not we're going to spend $5 million on a new stadium for these kids. They deserve better than that."

But Wigderson is accused of going too far to make his point in a recent blog post. Speaking of the athletic field project he wrote, "presumably so the little convicts can have the best facilities before being sent to the penitentiary."...

MPS sent its handy-dandy lapdogs from The Press to attack Wiggy's 'convicts' nomenclature.

Frankly, Wiggy's remark was a vast understatement.  Given the number of carjackers and auto thieves  who are MPS "students," that $5 million should have been used to build a juvie-prison right there in Milwaukee.

They could even name it "Wiggy Memorial".  I don't think Jim would mind.

U S Attorneys Must Be REAL Busy, No?

Apparently the U S Attorneys--nationally--are far too busy to bother with Federal gun-crimes.

...In fiscal year 2017, "approximately 25.6 million firearm-related background checks were processed through the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), and about 181,000 (about 1 percent) of the attempted purchases were denied because the background check revealed that the individual was prohibited from possessing a firearm under federal or state law."

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives referred about 13,000 of those firearms denials to its field divisions for investigation. U.S. Attorney's Offices (USAO) considered 50 of those 13,000 cases for prosecution, and actually prosecuted a total of twelve as of June 2018. An additional 10 cases were pending or awaiting prosecution as of June 2018, GAO said..
..

You won't hear anything from the "press" about this, nor from the "sensible gun control" jackwads.  This doesn't fit the agenda, which is to disarm citizens of the United States.

Good luck with that, friends.

Dipwit Professor at Ripon College

Another example of someone educated far beyond his intelligence:  a professor at Ripon College who objects to flag memorials on 9/11.

We'll cut to the chase here:

...The point of memorials is to remember, but few of these students have memories of 9/11. In fact, some of the youngest didn’t yet exist. What value is there in trying to remember an event that one, in practice, can’t recall?....

Therefore, since your wife does not recall her birth, Professor, why don't you just skip that silly and value-less memorial "birthday" of hers?

Dumbass.

"Solidarity Six" in Rome Should Resign

You will not be surprised at all to read the names here.

...six cardinals “expressed full solidarity with Pope Francis in the face of what has happened in the last few weeks, aware that in the current debate the Holy See is formulating possible and necessary clarifications.”

(Oh, really?  "Possible and necessary clarifications"?  Like "Yup, it's real.  We resign!"  THAT would be the "necessary" clarification.)

The council has convened as the Vatican is reportedly preparing a response to a letter released by Archbishop Carlo Maria ViganĂ², the Vatican’s former ambassador to the United States, which links both the Catholic Church’s sexual abuse crisis, as well as ensuing coverups by its bishops, to an extensive “homosexual network” within the church.

The six cardinals present for the meeting Monday were Cardinals Pietro Parolin, Vatican secretary of state; Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga of Tegucigalpa, Honduras; Sean P. O’Malley of Boston; Oswald Gracias of Mumbai, India; Reinhard Marx of Munich and Freising, Germany; and Giuseppe Bertello, president of the commission governing Vatican City State....

Marx is in up to his eyeballs, just like Maradiaga.  O'Malley has been caught lying like a rug about what he knew and when he knew it.  In the Vatican, the Sec/State is the 2nd most powerful figure, so Parolin knew all about the problems.  The other two?  Well, folks, they're keeping bad company, IYKWIMAITYD.

The Holy Pp. Francis Losing His Grip?

Now it seems that The Holy Francis is losing it.

...In his homily at Mass on Tuesday morning, Pope Francis said it seems the “Great Accuser” is attacking the bishops of the Catholic Church to create scandal. …

“In these times, it seems like the ‘Great Accuser’ has been unchained and is attacking bishops...He tries to uncover the sins, so they are visible in order to scandalize the people. The ‘Great Accuser’, as he himself says to God in the first chapter of the Book of Job, ‘roams the earth looking for someone to accuse’....

Quoted at HotAir.

Said "accuser" is Satan.  Hmmmmm.

Well, a lot of people, myself included, are fed up with Bishops who don't Bish, so we're calling them out.  We are well past the 'this might cause scandal' phase, Holiness.  We're into the "You did WHAT??" phase.

You can find a confessional nearby, Holiness.  Accuse yourself.

Bishops or Politicians??

It really doesn't take any imagination to see the parallels.

Sweden’s elections on Sunday carry the same lesson we should have already learned with Brexit and Donald Trump’s 2016 victory: Those whom political elites view as “deplorables” are going to have their say. The question now is whether elites will continue to ignore them and the lessons they bring....

We think of +Listecki, who makes nicey-nice to his homosexualist problem-priests; +McCarrick, of course, the Holy Francis, +O'Malley of Boston, +Farrell, and lots of others....

There are some differences, of course.  The Swedes are not revolting against Rule by Homosexual Cabal.

Reminder of +Listecki

So I happened across an essay concerning The Scandal.

The author quoted Bp. Paprocki (Springfield, IL) who addressed Pp. Francis' ridiculous response to the +Vigano accusations.  (See my sidebar for NEAT new addition!!!)

Anyhow, this sentence caught my attention:

Frankly, but with all due respect, that response is not adequate.

Yup, +Listecki, the "I don't have the power to stop him...." crap is not adequate.

SILENCE MASSINGALE!!

"Big Agenda" +Cupich Coming to Milwaukee!!

Many of you are waiting with bated breath to learn about the "BIG AGENDA" promoted by ++Blase Cupich (Blazing Cupcake).

It has to do with such things as immediately curing worldwide poverty and ensuring safety for all living things like rabbits and chipmunks and fishies in the sea.  Also a halt to use of any fuels.  Or maybe halting the use of ALL fuels.  Yup.  That's better.  Also building housing for all the homeless and curing all the sick.  Worldwide.  Tomorrow or sooner.

Yup.  That's more important than homosexual priests raping boys, ya'know.

You'll get to hear all about ++Cupich's "Big Agenda" right here in greater Milwaukee, if he stops talking about The Holy Francis.

Of course, Cupich could also speak about resignations.  His, Francis', Wuerl's, O'Malley's, Farrell's.....

"The Russians" Are Actually Google

Of course someone tried to influence the election.

But it was a bunch of Google executives, and they were stupid enough to think that "Hispanic=Hillary Voter."

Good to know, eh?

Fifty Years of Relativism = Pp. Francis. Ugh.

Professor K raises a very good point.

...It may be that the best effect of August 2018 is that it prompts sincere Catholics—those who still wish, above all, and in spite of all, to follow Christ the King in His one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church—to ask painful questions not just about the past five years, but about the past fifty years. What has made this pontificate and its attendant chaos possible? Is it a stray chastisement permitted for the purification of our sins? Or is it the fruition of an entire trend, the distillation of decades of ambiguous doctrine, catechetical waffling, worldly accommodationism, strategic secularization? Are we not beholding the fully consistent manifestation of “the spirit of Vatican II” that not only wilfully outstripped the texts of the Council but had already permeated the conciliar assembly in the well-documented machinations of the progressive European bishops who dominated the proceedings and whose spiritual descendants are today running the show?...

If you'd like some sort of confirmation of his thesis, read Malachi Martin's The Jesuits, wherein Martin points to the breakthrough of relativism's influence in the Order precisely due to the vague prattle found in many of the documents of Vatican 2.  It didn't really start with Arrupe (nor with Paul VI, for that matter) but it was unleashed when they were in charge.

Want another confirmation?  Tell me the last time you heard a sermon about artificial birth control.  Go ahead.  I'll wait.

Tesla Now Pushing--HARD--To Dump Inventory

It appears that the Genius Musk has a new problem.

The once months-long window between when Model 3 orders were placed and the time that these vehicles were delivered has collapsed. What once was an "exclusive" sounding waitlist is turning into a "department store closeout" style effort by Tesla to deliver whatever Model 3s they can as soon as possible, according to a new report by Electrek....  --quoted at ZeroHedge

Forgetting, for the moment, about the other problems with the Model 3, this will be interesting for another reason.

A few months ago, I had a conversation with a software project manager who works for a (car) dealer systems outfit.  Large one, too, has around 20% market share.  He was telling me that within the decade, automakers would cut dealers out and sell direct to consumers.

He was nuts, of course, like many software people, who count on Magic Software Intelligence Pixie Dust to match demand with supply, perfectly.  Computers don't make mistakes, ya'know.  And all algorithms are correct, all the time, ya'know.

Anyhow.  Tesla's inventory problem should tell us how well the "no dealers wanted" game works.  Then you can do simple math!  Multiply Tesla's inventory by about 100 or 200 to get a rough guess at total new-car (and truck) inventory in the USA.  Think GM/Ford/Fiat/Toyota/Honda want to shoulder that little burden?

Hint:  take the under.

"Chant Guy" at St Jerome's Disappears

A couple of years ago (or so) we mentioned that St Jerome's parish was going to regularly hold Masses using Gregorian Chant.

That was what the Director/Liturgy told us.

He was wrong, and he and his family are gone.  We're not really surprised, either.

All the Problems Look Like Nails...

Remember that old saying to the effect that if the tool you have is a hammer, all the problems look like nails?

Well, if one is a civil engineer, and one spent lotsa lotsa years in RoadBuilding, then every problem can be resolved with MOAR CONCRETE!!!

..."The governor’s seemingly offhand comment that the decision to widen our highways is driven by outside interests is not factually based, and is profoundly disrespectful to the professionals in the private and public sector who are trained to design and build safe and efficient highways for all to use," said Gottlieb, a retired civil engineer. ...

So lemmeesee, heah, Remus.  According to your logic, the professionals who studied how to build highways, and the professionals who actually DO build those highways, and the professionals who review plans for such highways (and approve them) could not POSSIBLY have a mite of self-interest in MOAR CONCRETE, eh?

Get a life, Mr. Gottlieb.  We appreciate your fervor.  Thanks for your service.

When You Lose Simcha Fisher...

Yah, Simcha's not exactly a hard-bitten traditionalist Catholic, no matter how many chilluns she has.  She wanders into silliness now and then.

But she's very unhappy with Pp Francis, likening his non-responses to that of a practiced abuser.

This is not good for The Francis.  Not good at all.

No Pro-Life Endorse for Walker, Schimel

In keeping with the squish-ness Walker exhibits with his "spend lots of money" and subtle gay "marriage" endorsement, Walker managed to fail the Pro-Life Wisconsin test, too.

So to him, AG Schimel, and Jim Sensenbrenner (both allegedly Catholics), only SOME babies are deserving of protection.  Prithee, which ones, boys?  Chamber of Commerce ones?

Walker's certainly taking a lot for granted, ain'a?

Refreshing to note that Vukmir DOES earn the Pro-Life Wisconsin endorsement.  Leah has the cajones that other (R) "men" seem to lack.

Voting Will Be Important

No matter the silliness and squishiness of Walker, it will be important to just pull the (R) lever on the second Tuesday of November.  ZMan reminds us of the consequences if we don't.

...Dorothy Martin came out of the same cult that gave birth to Scientology. She later went on to reinvent herself as Sister Thedra and start a new cult called the Association of Sananda and Sanat Kumara. Progressives have similarly morphed into different things over the years. You’ll also note that spiritual cults tend to be led by women or have a lot of high profile females.  The same thing is happening with the Progressives. It is hormonal woman shepherding non-whites.

All of this is amusing, but imagine a country with a powerful army and nuclear weapons being run by nutters like Elizabeth Warren.....

Let us hope that such a place remains strictly imaginary.

Another Clintoncide?

There is a very long trail of dead bodies following Hill and Bill.  So  many, in fact, that there is a new category of murder named for them:  "Clintoncide."

And here's another!!

DNC lawyers wrote in court filings Friday that Joseph Mifsud, who spoke to Papadopoulos during the 2016 presidential election, "is missing and may be deceased," Bloomberg News reported.  The lawyers did not elaborate....The Hill, quoted at AmThink

Mifsud set up Papadopoulos with the Clinton Campaign's lies about Trump, on account of which Papadopoulos is now serving time.

The Commie: Benghazi Is a "Conspiracy Theory"

It is more and more difficult to believe that Obama is any sort of patriot.

Obama criticizes Americans for embracing "wild conspiracy theories — like those surrounding Benghazi."

Huh?

Let us get this straight, you Communist scumball:  allowing Americans to die to cover up your transfer of weapons activities is what?  American?  Patriotic?

Screw off.

Massingale Shoves It Right Up +Listecki's Nose

Now that the Archbishop of Milwaukee, Jerome Listecki, has utterly failed his flock vis-a-vis the upcoming pollution of said Archdiocese by the presence of Father Massingale, good ol' Fr. Massingale has decided to rub Listecki's nose in said pollution.

...Patrick Hornbeck, [a self-proclaimed homosexual] Chair of Fordham Theology and Fr. Bryan Massingale, [a notorious homosexualist, if not another homosexual] the James and Nancy Buckman Chair in Applied Christian Ethics, released a statement concerning the current sex abuse crisis

The efforts by some influential persons to lay responsibility for the church’s situation upon gay priests and our society’s growing acceptance of same-sex orientations and relationships can occasion feelings of anger, betrayal, and perhaps even shame…First, we categorically condemn the vile slander that the crisis in the Catholic church is due to the presence of gay men. It reflects one of the most pernicious and deeply rooted stereotypes of gay persons, that of the sexual molester and child predator. It is a prejudice rooted in ignorance, fear, and/or hate. It negates the witness of many gay men who serve as priests with dedication and even distinction. It minimizes or even ignores the pain endured by female survivors of clerical abuse. Moreover, the alleged connection between pedophilia and homosexuality is unsupported by the Catholic church’s own commissioned research. The crisis facing the Catholic church is not one of sexual orientation. It is instead a crisis of sexual violence, systemic dishonesty, and episcopal malfeasance.
That statement is so full of lies that I don't have time to fisk the whole damnable pack.  Suffice it to say that it is cribbed from the leading homosexualist propagandist, James Martin.  They are good at straw-man setups, like "the vile slander that the crisis in the Catholic church is due to the presence of gay men"  No one ever said that, of course.   "The crisis" is due to the activity of Satan.  But the Queer Network of Bishops, Cardinals, and priests--which account for 80+% of the abuse and rapes of boys and men--have a great deal to do with it, no?

Or this one:  It is a prejudice rooted in ignorance, fear, and/or hate.  They use the word "prejudice" for a reason:  it's imported from the race-baiting bunch of which Massingale is a part.  In reality, prejudices have foundation in fact and experience.  But prejudice evaporates (or not) based on confirmation-experience.  So no, it's not "ignorance", nor is it "hate."  Nor is it "fear."  That's all lies.  In fact, truly Catholic fathers and mothers are NOT ignorant and they are not "h8ters". Nor do we 'fear the queers'.  But that's your story--fake as it is--and you can stick to it.  We don't believe a word of it because it's slander, pure and simple--but that's what you do, isn't it?

They note, accurately, that the Church paid for the John Jay study which drew the wrong conclusions, deliberately.  After all, the Bishops didn't want ALL the truth out there.  But when 80% of the rapes are done to pubescent boys, it's homosexuality.  That Grave Disorder you have means something, and you're displaying it very well, right down to the "reeeeeeeeeee  reeeeeeeeeeeee!!"

Oh, yes, and "episcopal malfeasance"!!  We know all about Weakland, McCarrick, Spellman, McGrath, and Farrell, for starters.  Coccopalmiero and Re, too.

Another Episcopal Malfeasance?  Spell it L-I-S-T-E-C-K-I.   How does that smell down there, Excellency?
