Not an unusual story. Guy from Indiana shows up in MKE, steals three diamond rings from three different stores, gets caught. He's also a felon-in-possession of a weapon.
Goes to trial, found guilty. Ho-hum.
Here's the very interesting part:

First question: why doesn't Fox6 identify the judge? By the way, one VERY RARELY finds the name of the judges who issue light-to-nonexistent sentences (like the above one) in "the news."
Why not? Why hide the judge? Who made the "Don't Tell" rule here??
Second question: why the Hell did that judge lift the prison sentence and go for probation?
