Tucker vs. Wood on Iran. Hmmmmm

We have seen L. Todd Wood's work.  He appears to be well-informed.

So when he tells you that Tucker (whom he admires) dialed a Wrong Number, you should pay attention.

 

...I have followed Tucker Carlson for years, and have generally agreed with much of his work. I especially applauded his work on the lies behind the Ukraine war, ... ending the Ukraine war is a passion of mine, so I was especially thankful to Tucker for having me on.

Second, I have been against any war with Iran for some time, vocally so. However, now that we are in it, I want an outcome that is good for the United States and my children's future. I don't believe American ground forces in any size would be a benefit in Iran. There would be many casualties, and I'm not sure they could be effective in achieving President Trump's goals. Besides, they simply aren't needed (there is already a capable force on the ground)....

 The parenthesized phrase is key.

 

...That is why I am confused over Tucker's recent support for the Iranian regime, and his denigration of the Iranian Resistance, The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), also known as Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), which I know well.

I was contacted in 2018 while writing for The Washington Times by the MEK's offshore political arm, the National Council of Resistance in Iran, or the NCRI. Over the last decade, I have spent much time with them, and took the time to learn their history, and their story....

 

....There is one thing that Tucker said that I completely agree with -- they are feared by the regime. In fact, the MEK is the only organization the regime fears. So much so, that there is a global propaganda campaign against them in the Western press, and successive U.S. and E.U. administrations. The words used on Tucker's show -- assassin, violent, cultish, etc. are exactly the words used by the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and the U.K. press. I have seen these lies spewed about them for years.

I believe Tucker has been duped into that campaign by the MOIS, or their allies....

Hmmmm.

Wood insinuates that England--or maybe even Israel--is behind the smearing of MEK.  

Wood testifies that MEK is actually a bunch of peaceful Muslims.  Think about the implications of that for a moment; if there are "peaceful" Muslims, a lot of DOOM DOOM DOOM predictions will collapse.  Hmmmmm.
