Not only Every Rotten Democrat (Communist) Accusation--but it is also disinformation.
...Archbishop Broglio said the final version stripped or weakened measures essential to protecting the vulnerable.
“The final version of the bill includes unconscionable cuts to healthcare and food assistance, tax cuts that increase inequality, immigration provisions that harm families and children, and cuts to programs that protect God’s creation,” Archbishop Broglio said. “The bill, as passed, will cause the greatest harm to those who are especially vulnerable in our society.”...
Yah. Some people are going to have to find work or at least pretend to LOOK for work. Horrors!
Old Farts and tip-slaves paying less Federal taxes. OMG!!!
Criminal illegals getting tossed. Liars getting tossed. Heaven forfend!!
And of course, THE ENVIRONMENT WILL DIE AND SO WILL WE ALL!!!!
If he actually believes all that bullsh*t, he doesn't have the mental horsepower to be a real Bishop.

He’s absolutely correct. No amount of virtue signaling on your part, Dad29, will change that.
Crusty Old TV Tech here. What is it about some people? Inversion of truth and lie is not the mark of the saints. When shifting a taxation burden from Fed to State (BTW, a supposed hallmark of our FEDERAL system of gummint, State primacy) becomes "cuts", that is inversion of good and evil. Abp. Sheen was right about inversion of truth and lie.
Crusty brained, too! States can spend whatever their electorate wants to spend. If they are fool enough to believe Fed promises made under ObozoCare, that's their problem. Shoving State obligations onto the Fed taxpayer.....is that what you advocate? Sorry, pal. No amount of inverted/perverted "logic" on your part make that right.
Crusty Old TV Tech again. Apologies! I must have mis-stated my position. I will re-state it. My previous comment referred to the Dem/Commie position of calling a re-allocation of Medicare from Fed to State a "cut". It is not a "cut", it is rather a re-allocation. One which is more in line with Federalism than the Feds funding everything, IMHO. If Texas decides to fund that "benefit" at the same level as the Feds from Texas tax receipts, once funding is moved from Fed to State level, that is Texas' business. If they choose to eliminate or reduce it, that is also Texas' business, and not a "cut", at least not in the way meant by the Bishop's comments. I also wonder why the good Bishop does not do what the Church did centuries ago, and provide those works of mercy as are needed locally, in the DIocese. Why must the central government do that?
