Speaker Johnson's New Bible

It would be interesting to learn precisely which book, chapter, and verse in the New Testament the Speaker refers to here.  Then to learn precisely how he arrived at this interpretation:

'"As a Christian, we believe the Bible teaches very clearly that we're to stand with Israel," Johnson says'

Briggs is correct:  the Bible does no such thing

The New Israel is the Church founded by Christ--which is the Catholic Church.  That's what we are to "stand with."

Egads.

Maybe if he knew that lots of Jewish organizations, after Dobbs, came out supporting abortion, he'd not be so Israel-friendly. He seems to be suffering from the Evangelical confusion about the New Israel (aka the Catholic Church), mistaking the Zionist project for the real thing. Sadly, many Jews both in Israel and abroad, are sorrowing over being dragged along by their Zionist elite. All these folks, including the Evangelicals, need prayers and sacrifices for their conversion to the True Faith.
