Legislative Pipsqueaks Demanding Stuff

So.

The State AG and a couple of other criminal investigations are ongoing.

What do the (D) leggies want? They want the investigations to be PUBLIC knowledge. After all, who needs secrets while you're investigating a crime ring? Democratic Reps. Andy Jorgensen of Fort Atkinson and Jon Richards of Milwaukee said Thursday that they were surprised that a Walker appointee at the Department of Health Services didn't tell lawmakers on the audit committee about the ongoing investigation into the Milwaukee County fraud. In a letter to the GOP co-chairs of the audit committee, Jorgensen and Richards said that Health Services deputy secretary Kitty Rhoades be invited back to testify to the committee again. "We would appreciate the opportunity to ask her why there was no mention of this huge fraud investigation when she testified during our hearing on Tuesday. We find her omission totally unacceptable," Jorgensen and Richards wrote in the letter...

When the adults think you should know, kids, you'll know.

And if Democrats had attempted to keep this investigation from Republicans, who have a RIGHT TO KNOW, you would demanding accountability. So please spare us the sanctimony.

"When the adults think you should know, kids, you'll know."

Fine, using YOUR logic, when the Democrats, as the "adults" currently in charge of the United States Senate, neglect to inform Republicans, the "kids", about an inquiry into fraud, do not cry about it like you normally do.

Gee.

Here all this time I thought that handing out knowledge of ongoing secret investigations was kinda stupid.

First you spring the trap. THEN you show off the mice.

No mere legislator has any "right" to know about confidential/secret fraud investigations.

Kinda defeats that whole "secret" part...

Care to make any substantive comments, DCS? Or do you prefer to be obtuse?

Sort of like a secret investigation in process on a local blogger.
