Trump vs. "Day Care". Why??

 The latest Hair-On-Fire occasion for the MSM is Trump's statement to the effect that the US Treasury should not be paying for "day care" when the War Department needs a bunch of cash.

As usual, Trump is leading up to something.

.. it hasn't sunk in for most people. we already live in a post-scarcity society. UBI is already here. basic package: disability, medicaid, food stamps etc bonus package: literally getting paid for staying at home and hanging out with your relatives 

extra bonus: if you are willing to commit fraud, pretend your kids are autistic and get paid for that. get paid for watching your neighbor's kid. pretend you are taking care of your grandma. fake hospice clinic. fake rehab clinic. fake therapy clinic....

Two very important things to note here:  1)  Medicare/Medicaid are funding a HUGE chunk of this; and 2)  Biden's Autopen disabled or removed all the accounting/auditing controls for these programs.

What Trump wants?  A serious discussion of "Vote-Bribery-by-Welfare Check" (see, e.g., the Somali Scam, repeated but far larger in the Armenian Scam in California.  There will be more....)

How to get that?  Toss a bomb into the press pool.

DOGE was killed faster than any government program ever, because it attempted to root out the fraud. if you are honest and unwilling to commit fraud, you are a huge loser in this system. your neighbor will have their mortgage subsidized by some government program. they will get favorable SBA loans due to DEI. they will open a fake hospice or autism clinic. they will get paid for taking care of their neighbor's kid and vice versa. the primary skill in the labor market is learning how to extract money from state and federal government programs, not gaining skills or making yourself employable. if you are just trying to work an ordinary wagie job you are a huge sucker. you are paying 40-50% effective all in taxes to everyone else who is a net taker....

I always wondered why DOGE took a powder that fast.  On the other hand, one suspects that DOGE is still operative but in stealth mode and JDVance is using the Hell out of it as we type.

Repeat:  Biden/Autopen disabled all the accounting/audit controls on Medicaid/Medicare/Fed payments for social services.  All of them.

How many months before the "Highly-Trained, Professional Reporters" of the MSM catch up with this?  Over/Under bets may be placed in the combox.  Hint:  you can't really go TOO long.....
