There is a good deal of squalling and shrieking on the 'net regarding Trump's aggressive push against Maduro of Venezuela. Both hard-Left (communist fellow-travelers of Maduro) and some tight-assed righties are kvetching. Naturally, the "news" tells you little or nothing of what we're going to put up here.
Maybe they should keep up with the real Maduro. First off, he is the successor to Hugo Chavez in nearly every way, including making sure that he is 'elected.'
He is the leader of a drug cartel: Cartel de Los Soles. He is the reason that Tren de Aragua is terrorizing parts of the US. He financed Black Lives Matter. He is most likely financing a good part of the "anti-fascist" movement, another Communist front just like the Party for Socialism and Liberation--not to mention Code Pink (!!). His close pal, the "President" of Colombia, cheerleads for the "No Kings" bunch along with the oligarch Bernie Sanders--and probably finances a part of it, too.
IOW, he covers the chaos + terrorism waterfront in the USA with the money from petroleum.
But he doesn't stop with the US!! He also harbors and finances Hezbollah, and provides fake passports for the members on demand.
We're not done.....
Chavez and Maduro illegally used funds from PDVSA — Venezuela's
state-run oil and natural gas company — to finance other left-wing
political movements in the world for at least 15 years. The main
recipients of the funds were Néstor Kirchner in Argentina, Lula da Silva
in Brazil, Evo Morales in Bolivia, Petro in Colombia, Fernando Lugo in
Paraguay, and the Podemos party in Spain, as well as the Five Star
Movement in Italy.
He is determined to overthrow the President of Argentina ...
Which is why Trump tossed Argentina a $40BN lifeline, over the objections of the Hard Left and some know-it-all ('the JOOOOOOS did it!' Alllllll of it!!!) grouch from the Chicago area (who has gone stark-raving-mad TDS in the last 90 days.)
It is good that Trump is blowing up Maduro's power-boats. It is also acceptable practice, by the way, when dealing with terrorist drug cartels whose purpose is to sow chaos in the US. Those are acts of war, declared or not, and deserve act-of-war responses.
