Good Ol' Tommy Thompson: Green Weenie (!)

Behind that jolly wave and 'u-rah-rah-Wisconsin' was a Green Fascist inclination.  Who knew?  (To be fair, Tommy probably had no clueWouldn't be the first time.)

Legislation has been introduced which would extract Wisconsin and its political subsidiaries (counties, cities) from "Agenda 2030", a United Nations regulatory effort.  You can and should thank Reps. Ty Bodden, Elijah Behnke, and Joy Goeben

...This bill addresses pressing concerns regarding Wisconsin's involvement in the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, particularly through the administration of the "Green Tier" program by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

Wisconsin is already enmeshed in the United Nations' 2030 Agenda through the Green Tier program. This has sparked concerns about the disruptive nature of this initiative. Initiated in 2004 and solidified as a permanent fixture in 2009, Green Tier's origins can be traced back to Governor Tommy Thompson's 1998 memorandum of understanding with Bavaria, aligning with the UN's Agenda 2021, which has evolved into Agenda 2030. Both Republican and Democratic administrations played a role in its establishment....

... the bill prohibits the adoption or implementation of policies derived from the 2030 Agenda or any other international law that infringes on private property rights without due process or contravenes the U.S. Constitution or the Constitution of the State of Wisconsin.

Green Tier operates in two segments—one for companies and another for municipalities and counties.
Despite its "voluntary" label, it grants the DNR authority to penalize non-compliant businesses and establishes connections with NGOs, influencing localities against the wishes of their residents.

The bill's primary aim is to repeal the Green Tier Program and the Environmental Compliance Audit Program, recognizing their influence on Wisconsin's adherence to Agenda 2030 priorities.
Additionally, the legislation places restrictions on political subdivisions, preventing them from engaging in agreements related to the 2030 Agenda, thus safeguarding local autonomy....

We've mentioned the farmers' revolts in Germany, Holland, and upcoming in France and Moravia.  THIS is what the farmers over there are up in arms about.  Europe is just a few steps ahead of us, and if anyone is nuts enough to push a UN program onto Wisconsin farmers and companies, it's Tony Evers.

You've been warned, thanks to the Wisconsin Conservative Digest!
