Some of you ask "Why?" Why should the US jump into a war in the Middle East, where our logistics chain is stretched and everyone but Israel is an enemy? Why would the United States cut off an excellent source of petroleum AND solid (if shrinking) support for the US Dollar from KSA? How does the US 'plan' (laugh-line there) on gaining support from the EU, which will be crucial?
Answer: this is an election year and the only hope the Deep State has is to preserve Biden in office is a war, no matter how many of your children perish in the effort. All the rest is irrelevant.
Maybe burning draft cards will be just a prelude to a real insurrection.

KSA would love to see Hezbollah go down, along with the Houthi and Hamas and all the other Iranian proxies. Anything that costs Iran money and power is a net gain for them; and if it drove a wedge between us and Qatar, all the better.
Biden has to be looking at the Red Sea closure to oil shipments and seeing recession just in time for his re-election bid.
Yes, KSA wants Iran to lose power and influence.
But KSA will not assist Israel--nor the US--in taking them down.
The Biden organization seizing Russian assets and kicking Russia out of SWIFT has certainly gotten the attention and concern of KSA, as well as EVERY major international finance player. I suspect KSA values their financial well being and the Biden group actions most certainly will temper their willingness and degree of support for the extra national actions of the US government.
