Fairly lengthy and complex article running through the House's new Big Spend proposal. Some actual Conservatives signed on, probably due to this:
...Republican leaders agreed to:
— A CR that includes steeper cuts, as demanded by conservatives, and would fund the government at $1.471 trillion.
— In addition to the border crackdown measures already included, a new sweetener: a commission that will look at cutting spending and reducing the debt in the future.
— A new topline number for long-term House appropriations bills: $1.526 trillion — or $64 billion less than the topline McCarthy agreed to in the debt ceiling deal....
A COMMISSION!!!! To study stuff "in the future"!!!
That's a serious threat, right? Like the Warren Commission which buried the CIA's involvement in the JFK assassination, right?
And hey!! They chopped $64 Bn from Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants' demand. Wow. $64 Bn. What's that--about 1 day's spending?
That's really going to make a difference, but especially A COMMISSION!!!
Fear!! Dread!!
