President Joe Biden’s (D) administration has threatened to recoup coronavirus relief money issued to Arizona regarding state provisions it claimed discouraged families and school districts from adhering to federal guidance that recommends masks in schools....
Wait--what? How did that happen?
Simple. If your Yuuuuuunion school requires masks but the NON-Yuuuuuuunion school does not, Arizona gives you $7K to take your kids to the NON-Yuuuuuunion school. Also--if a District forces masks, it is NOT eligible for grants.
...At issue are two state programs that are meant to help schools and students but that direct funding away from jurisdictions with mask requirements. Arizona’s Education Plus-Up Grant Program provides $163 million in funding to schools, but districts that require face coverings are ineligible. You will recall that Arizona Yuuuuuunion-teachers are an obstreperous lot.
Teachers are Democrat voters, and likely are the 33% who still approve of Bai-Den. He needs them, just like he needs a good war or two, to cling to his office.
