You can learn a lot about Minnesota Gov. Walz at the PowerLine site. None of it is good.
Walz is a hard-Left ideologue like Kamala. And, like Kamala, he is not burdened by a high IQ. Shapiro, the other contestant, was waaaaaaaayyyyy too pro-Israel and, by the way, was also pro-school choice, which would have alienated a very significant voting bloc: the teachers.
Here's a comment on Walz from an NG officer:
