... eight of the ten drugs are covered by patents that expire in 2026 or before. Only one of the ten, Imbruvica, has a patent with many years left to run, and the price reduction negotiated for that drug is the lowest percentage price drop of the group....
This is a "two-fer" of sorts for the Political Liar Class of Harris/Biden, and for the Wants Big Money Class of Big Pharma.
First off, the price reductions were inevitable, as the generics WILL be lower-priced. So the Political Liars "negotiated" the inevitable, or as the patent lawyer put it, they "extended" the Law of Gravity. Secondly, the "negotiations" ensured that the Wants Big Money Class will continue to sell the drugs through Medicare/Medicaid even after the generics hit the markets. Why? Because the drugs are 'scheduled' due to the Biden/Harris shimmy-shake. Those are the drugs that Medicare/Medicaid WILL pay for.
Look carefully at those campaign-finance reports, folks.
