Kaul Wakes Up, Says Nothing

AG Kaul's semi-permanent slumber party was interrupted.

A few weeks after controversy erupted over Flock cameras, Josh Kaul's staff awakened him and told him they had a statement ready for him to read.

After ascertaining the date and time, Josh hauled his ample ass out of bed and faced the cameras.

What he said?

Irrelevant and immaterial, as usual.

After that strenuous exercise, Josh went back to bed.

That crime lab backup will resolve itself, and those two+-year-old FOIA petitions......he'll get to them.

Sometime.

Maybe.

Sep. 6th: Putin Meets Jared and Steve

Contrary to Raving-TDS wish-casting, Putin met with Kushner and Witkoff.

Friendly exchange, which tells you that the meetup between CIA and Russkie CIA was not the dart-throwing contest that the Raving-TDSmongers would have you believe.

That said, there is a lot that we untermensch don't get to know.  Ask anyone who's interested in the JFK assassination, or the Epstein records (un-redacted), or--for that matter--how The Cabbage got 81 million votes.

The Rest of the Bombardier Story

Bet you didn't know that Gulfstream is not allowed to sell its (US-made) planes in Canada didja?

China's Data Centers a Threat? Really??

They keep telling us that unless the US has more data centers, the Red Chinese will overcome the US and..........ahhh........well..........sumpin'sumpin' awful.  You know.  Awful.

Looks like Red China has a long way to go.

Trump Admin: FAMILY Matters!!

Good news, again, from the Administration.

The Trump administration is drafting a Health and Human Services policy that would, for the first time, let a married parent who stays home with the children collect federal child-care money that Washington has spent thirty years routing almost exclusively to day-care centers....

There are conditions, of course, but this does NOT require new legislation--so the Democrats and RINOs will not be able to block it.

Nice to see that the Trump gang prefers FAMILY to strangers--that is to say, they're stuffing Hillary-ism into the toilet.  That's appropriate.

Good Question on Clancy

We've largely ignored the trial, but someone who has not asks a very good question.

... women and men are different biologically, and that this means women, especially in biologically vulnerable moments like those following the birth of a child, need extra care and attention. And yet on that second point, they seem to be agreeing with outright misogynists in claiming that women’s biological vulnerability renders us incapable of acting like grown adults. If they’re claiming that women can get so hormonal as to be incapable of reason and accountability, that women’s fluctuations in estrogen levels can absolve them of literal murder, how are they upholding women’s dignity? How are they not essentially insulting the feminists who fought tooth and nail not to be reduced to their hormones?...

Yup.

What HSI Should Watch in WI Election(s)

Homeland Security--investigations division--will be working in Wisconsin before, during, and after the mid-terms.

They should be concentrating on these:

...Jay Valentine at Omega 4 America objects to the Trump admin’s efforts including Judicial Watch’s methodology. He argues that they are doing ‘clean-up’ theatre, and that these voters have not voted for years. Valentine’s methodology is far more trenchant and productive. Absurdistan has written extensively about his work, but mainly Omega charges that as many as 10-20% of mail in ballots are sent to operational voters, who live at the following kind of addresses. Who therefore do not exist. But are registered voters nonetheless.

  • Walmarts and other large retail stores.

  • Gas stations.

  • Warehouses and industrial buildings.

  • Closed strip malls.

  • Vacant lots.

  • Government buildings.

  • Apartment complexes without unit numbers.

  • Small houses containing implausibly large numbers of registrations.

  • Dormitories occupied by students who graduated years earlier. (Which would explain the bonkers results in college towns..)

Valentine stresses that these voters vote, and that Dhillon, Mullins, Fitton, etc., do not track whether their ineligible voters actually vote, therefore, this is not close enough analysis to matter.

Valentine cross-references these voters with a half dozen different government databases in order to identify them, and charges that the government at all levels is either sleepy, using outmoded software, or corrupt. Or, all three. The fact that the government does not check whether ballots go to eligible addresses allows for a massive pool of registered, citizen voters to be voted. To repeat, the voters are registered and citizens. They don’t exist....

They SHOULD be concentrating there.

But WILL they?

Another Pentagon Major-League Fail

Some say that Hegseth should be canned for his continuing purges of high-ranking officers.

On the other hand, maybe Hegseth hasn't gone far enough.

The Pentagon announced this week it has finally disabled advertising trackers on government-issued phones and computers across every branch of the U.S. military. The mobile advertising ID — the tiny piece of code that lets data brokers follow a single device across every app it touches, map where it sleeps, where it works, where it travels, and sell that information to anyone with a credit card — has been shut off....

"Finally"?  What does that mean?

In 2018, fitness app Strava published a global heat map of user activity that inadvertently revealed the layouts and patrol routes of secret U.S. military bases in Syria, Afghanistan, and Africa. The Pentagon scrambled. Nothing changed. In 2021, the Wall Street Journal reported that a U.S. military contractor demonstrated it could reconstruct American military operations in real time using nothing but commercially available app data from soldiers’ phones. The Pentagon took note. Nothing changed. In 2024, Wired magazine showed that the same commercial data streams could pinpoint U.S. military contractors at specific overseas locations — including, humiliatingly, German brothels.

Still nothing changed.

There are two questions:  "Who Profited?", along with "Who F'd Up?"

Hegseth has a lot more work to do.

BTW, if you thought Flock is a problem, Bai-Den nearly handed you a much bigger one.

Is COSCO Spying on US (and Others)?

This is a "no doh" story.

China's state-owned shipping giant COSCO rejected a report published last week alleging that the company had concealed advanced surveillance equipment aboard its cargo ships to monitor US military communications near the coastlines of target nations, including the US....

Flock learned a lot from COSCO, except Flock only spies on everyone in the US, whereas COSCO's spying is limited to oceans and coastlines.

At least, that's what we're told.

"Low-Value" Medicare Procedures

The article raises very good questions, given that Medicare will go bankrupt in 6 years or so.

In 1996, a task force of independent healthcare experts recommended that doctors stop giving urine tests to people who did not show symptoms of a urinary tract infection. The test has "no benefit," since even a positive result for elevated bacteria levels does not mean the patient is unhealthy, research shows.

The recommendation, like many others, was essentially ignored. Today the government spends about $1 billion annually for almost 15% of seniors on Medicare to get the test.

There are several dozen and possibly hundreds of such "low-value care" treatments – medical practices that have little or no clinical benefit, or which have a risk that outweighs their potential benefit, according to medical literature. They include Vitamin D blood tests and MRIs for mild lower-back pain. In all, more than one-third of Medicare beneficiaries receive a low-value intervention every year, costing taxpayers several billion dollars....

We would suggest that forcing Medicare beneficiaries to visit the doc annually is also a large waste of time and money.

Crowley's Corridor of Crime Study and "Vision"

David Crowley is spending $220,000.00 on a "study" to figure out what to do about Mitchell Field's very-dead 'moving walkway.'  That's just the study, not the repair or replacement.

Only $220,000?  David Crowley can do better than that!!

Behold!  Crowley can spend & waste with the best of them!

...Now, for the first time, a feasibility study is underway — hoping to bring that vision to life.

Milwaukee County leaders say the study is funded and in progress, with a study completion date set for April 2027.

"The project is going to be completed in April 2027....

What "vision"?

To build a bike/walk trail in Milwaukee's Corridor of Crime:  the 30th St. railroad right-of-way.

If you have a handlebars-mounted Ma Deuce, you'll be just fine.  Check out the garbage all over the place in the video; that's what we call "a clue".

(The most amusing part of the Channel4 bit?  Interviewing a bicycle nut who spouts irrelevant yappaflappa about 'transportation cost for families.'  What that has to do with riding a bike--or hiking--through a garbage-filled and high-crime-area "corridor"?  Not a damn thing.)

Next Crowley "study"?  How about a high-speed rail system from Oak Creek to River Hills??  Those peeps in River Hills want to cut back their cost of transportation, ya'know.

Expect Evers Screech in 3, 2, 1, ...

Ruh Roh.  We'll be hearing screeching from Tiny Tony any minute now.  (Best part is at the very bottom of this post.)

The Justice Department has issued an important ruling requiring states to follow the legislated rule of reporting illegal aliens who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).  This rule can substantially alter the nature of financial support programs currently taking place with federal funds....

Here's the explainer from DoJ:

... “Our clarification does not impose new obligations on states,” said Deputy Assistant Attorney General Joshua Craddock of the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel and author of the opinion. “It simply restores the original meaning of the statute Congress enacted and ensures that DHS receives the information it is legally entitled to. States that accept TANF funding must abide by federal law, and failure to comply may lead to serious consequences, including loss of program funding.”

The Office withdrew a Clinton-era opinion from 1998 that construed the reporting requirement much more narrowly. Under that prior interpretation, only the specific state agencies administering TANF or SSI were required to provide information to federal immigration authorities. All fifty states, the District of Columbia, and several U.S. territories currently participate in TANF and SSI, and federal TANF funding grants exceed $16.4 billion annually.

The Office of Legal Counsel’s Sept. 1 opinion explains that Congress defined “State” broadly in the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996. As a result, when a state accepts federal TANF or SSI funds, the entire state government — including all component agencies — is bound by federal law to share information with DHS about individuals the state knows to be not lawfully present....

It is prospective, not retrospective.  So if Tiny Tony refuses, Wisconsin loses*.

But with him as Governor, we're used to losing.

*N.B.:  This will force Tiny Tony to reveal the illegals in this State--name, address, bank account....and then someone can check their VOTING RECORD.

Lowry Beatifies Homan. For What??

Rich Lowry (National Review) gives Tom Homan a tongue-bath for Homan's anemic removals of illegals.

...As it turns out, immigration arrests [under Homan] hit a record for Trump’s second term in June at 43,000, and the number increased again in July to 50,000.

Removals, too, were at a high in July — 34,000....

There are between 10 and 20 MILLION illegals in the US.

At the rate Homan's going, (600K/year) it will be 2056 before all the illegals are gone.

By the way, Lowry's item is the second one we've seen pushing LUV on the Old Republican Party in the last week.  Hayes wrote an essay rubbing up to Paul Ryan, and now this.

Next thing you know, the Usual Suspects will be canonizing Turtle McConnell.  (They can do that already, as canonization happens after death.)

Measles DOOM? Fauci's Lockdowns Did It

RFK, Jr., slaps Bit**y Bash across the chops with facts (things that CNN likes to hide.)

... BASH: “Measles cases in the U.S. just reached a 35-year high. The second record-breaking year in a row. 93% of these cases are among the unvaccinated. The outbreak is happening on your watch. Do you accept some responsibility for this measles outbreak?” ...

... RFK JR.: “Let me tell you, because actually Anthony Fauci in his diaries answers the question about why we’re having a measles outbreak right now. The reason we’re having a measles outbreak is because of the COVID lockdowns. Because children during that period did not get vaccinated.” “[Fauci] says in his diaries, more children are going to die from measles because of these lockdowns than COVID.”...

Not that Fauci gave a damn about that.

In addition to Fauci, a number of the kids getting measles are part of Amish communities and the Amish do not get vaccinated.

Typical Lying About "Solar Power"

The headline is about 80-85% bullshit.

Solar power capacity in China stood at 1,286 gigawatts (GW) at the end of July, Chinese media cited the country's National Energy Administration as saying on Tuesday.

Thus, solar capacity accounted for 31.5% of total installed power generation in China as of July 31.

In July, Chinese authorities said that China would have more installed solar power capacity than coal-fired generation capacity as early as this quarter.

As of the end of June, solar power capacity stood at 1,274 GW, just below the total coal-fired installed capacity of 1,275 GW....

Reality check?

Typically, solar panels operate at about 15% to 20% efficiency, meaning they convert that percentage of sunlight into usable electricity....

"Capacity" means nothing.  "Deliverable" is what counts, and "deliverable" is only 15-20% of "capacity."

Free Lunch Gone in Kenosha! DOOM DOOM

The Kenosha Schools are causing an "affordability" crisis; their supply of Other People's Money (OPM) ran out.

Families at 17 Kenosha Unified School District schools are starting the new school year without free lunches after the district scaled back a program that had provided meals to all students for the past three years....

Watch the language of this report here:

...The change affects schools that do not qualify for the Community Eligibility Provision, or CEP, a federal program that reimburses districts to serve free meals without collecting applications at low-income schools. ...

Oh.

Now watch the wailing and snorting:

...Nia Marnae, a KUSD parent, said the change came as a surprise to her family.

"My sister called me, my nephew is in a non CEP school, and he was freaking out and he was freaking out he's like, they didn't give me lunch, they gave me crackers. We're like what do you mean? We haven't experienced that before," Marnae said....

... "It kind of gives peace of mind, because things change, finances change, you never know what's going on in this economy, that's just one less thing you had to worry about making sure your kids were fed…"...

So Marnae moved in less than 3 years ago and wants other people to feed her kid because she won't fill out a form.

Really?

Kenosha's school board is among the most Lefty in the State.  If even that board quit giving away OPM food.....well.........

Serbia! Put On Your Big Boy Pants!

Can you feel the cold, dead, hand of NATO here?

President Aleksandar Vucic of Serbia told Breitbart News exclusively that he and everyone in Serbia and Eastern Europe fears what may happen to Christians and Serbs in Kosovo after the removal of troops guarding a bridge, and that he is calling on Washington and NATO to step in to help fix the situation before things spiral out of control....

NATO has troops guarding a bridge between Serbia and Kosovo (Muslim territory.)

Serbia should put on its Big Boy pants and guard the damn bridge all by itself.  Ask Croatia for help if you need more troops.

Worst piece of NATO propaganda we've seen.....

Only MI and IL Pay More for Kilowatts

Not that long ago, Wisconsin Electric bragged that its rates were among the LOWEST in the Midwest.

Then the company was acquired by FIBs.

Now WE's rates are third highest in the Upper Midwest, after Illinois (surprise!) and Michigan.

Evers' Public Service Commission will probably give them even more.
