"They also have to get their prices down, because the consumer is a very big factor in my thinking, also!"  --AOSHQ quoting DesMoines Register.

 Trump tariffs, my ass.  The reason(s) that beef prices are high are feed prices partially caused by jamming corn into gas tanks rather than into beef cattle, innumerable EPA intrusions into ranching protocols, droughts affecting alfalfa supplies.....

You've probably seen the "reports" on local TeeeeeVeeeee stating that the Airport Pandas, Air Traffic Controllers, and other FedGov security and safety peeps are working without paychecks.

True--as far as it goes.  But that's not the WHOLE truth, of course.  It's the propaganda truth, eagerly relayed by "highly-experienced and professional" reporters.

As the dean of Cornell University’s law school, the new Georgetown president also advocated for keeping gender-confused men and women in the military. He said Trump’s proposed ban in 2017 on “transgender” troops was an “unprecedented step backwards in the progress towards greater tolerance and inclusion in our nation’s military.”...

The last actually-Catholic prof at Georgetown, Fr. Jim Schall, died a few years ago.  That was about 25 years after Georgetown became ANTI-Catholic.  Fr. Schall was a tough cookie!

"Over the last couple of years, the automakers really went full bore in putting in capacity for EVs," Fields, 64, told CNBC's "Power Lunch."

"They really didn't have a good discussion on the consumer, in terms of what it was going to take to get the consumer to buy these EV products," Fields said....

But but but but Fields has a Harvard MBA!!  How could he...........aaaach.  Nevermind.

 ...General Motors said in an exchange filing on Tuesday that it was taking a $1.6 billion charge "based on a planned strategic realignment of our EV capacity and manufacturing footprint to consumer demand."

Discussion of "Free Money" (rebates) is included in the article.  But there is NO discussion of the fact that the EV market began dying about mid-2024--or earlier--long before the Free Money was slated to vanish.   Ask Rivian, or Tesla.

There's a lot of factory space which will soon be available, cheap.  Good place for pharmaceutical manufacturers, furniture manufacturers, PC manufacturers, and--who knows--even good old-fashioned I.C.E. car manufacturers.

 It's not too well-known that Georgetown University is home to hundreds of corruptocrats, although since it's Jesuit and thus easily bought--and is in D.C.--it's not a surprise.

One of the most corrupt Democrat operatives is Mary McCord (now teaching at Guess Where?), who was a major player in all the "get Trump" activities.  She served as a co-ordinator, story-line writer, and (illegally) as a pass-through of information.

 ...To enhance this ongoing effort, Twitter user “pepesgrandma” shares an email exchange from Mary McCord to the FBI in December of 2020 following the election.

Apparently, Mary McCord was conducting surveillance of an Oathkeeper chat room and sending information to the FBI following the November 2020 election, and in the runup to the January 6, 2021 protest....

Now you know why S.702 will NEVER be repealed.  It's far too convenient for slugs like McCord and her bed-mate slugs in the FBI.

 ...It appears Mrs. McCord then forwarded the email to someone [REDACTED], likely within the J6 Committee or Jack Smith investigation on Sept 24, 2021.

 There’s a reason why the J6 Committee deleted the records of their activity, an angle missed by most.  When you understand what they hid, and why they did it, you then understand why current Speaker of The House Mike Johnson will not go near the subject.

The J6 targets were identified through a collaboration between the legislative research group and the FBI. [That’s unlawful by the way – but that’s another matter]. The FBI contracted Palantir to identify the targets using facial recognition software and private sector databases.

Once identified, the targets were then searched in the NSA database for a fulsome context of identity. All subsequent electronic metadata of the targets was retrieved and utilized in prosecution; however, no one ever discovered this was the collaborative method. That has not come out yet....

 The very well-coiffed Speaker of the House will not get his hairdo mussed up by releasing too much information.

The Shutdown Problem Is Actually ObamaCare

 Ticker spells it out for all y'all.

... It's rather simple really: The Democrats beclowned themselves over the last few years with the Biden subsidy expansion.  They inadvertently proved that Obamacare cannot and will never work, nor will any similar structure, to control and lower costs.

Why?

Well, before pandemic subsidy expansion the only way to obtain (poor quality and very high deductible / out-of-pocket) "coverage" at modest to moderate cost was to make less than 140% of the poverty line, including non-taxable income such as that from municipal bonds.  At that level all subsidies ceased; this was called the "subsidy cliff."...

The magic number for "free" coverage?  $40,000 of Modified Adjusted Gross Income.  Fine--unless you went $1.00 over that number, in which case you had to pay back about $10K.

For obvious reasons, lots of people went naked instead.

When the Biden/Democrat regime came along, it changed the rules for subsidies.

 ...it capped the premiums for a "benchmark plan" at 8.5% of annual income, and for those with incomes below 150% of the federal poverty level some (worst of course, but still something) plans had a premium cost of zero.  By doing this it also prevented, with certainty, the risk of making a bit too much and getting hammered at tax time with a $10,000 subsidy recapture bill...

Problem solved?

Hell NO!

... As both sides concede, and of course the official data shows, this change during the pandemic resulted in a lot of new sign-ups -- millions of them, in fact.  Those people included many who had no economic argument for buying the plan before as they were healthy, had significant income and thus had to pay full price -- and as a result they refused.  What the subsidy expansion caused is the opposite of "adverse selection" and in a functional market where you are not being robbed would have resulted in very large before-subsidy drops in the cost of said policies by greatly improving the average medical spend across the entire pool of people.

What actually happened is that over those years the before-subsidy price WENT UP.

That's proof -- by actual experience -- that what was originally sold; that having people without pre-existing problems in the pool and contributing (taxpayer money, thus circular in form and function but still going into the medical system) would lower costs for everyone on average -- was in fact false.

What happened instead was that the totality of costs through the Obamacare system on a per-person basis, after a very small dip in the first year, once again increased continually despite the enhanced subsidies and thus uptake by healthier people....

And here we are.

Never forget that CJ "Julia" Roberts invented crap to keep ObamaCare on the books.

Never forget that Paul Ryan made ObamaCare permanent by refusing to bring up the repeal legislation.  Paul Ryan was and still is one of the most perfidious jackwads ever to serve in Congress. 

And never forget that those two--with hundreds of other Cloud People "Experts" and "Smarter-Than-You" jackasses are the reason for Donald Trump.

CNN first reported Thursday on Platner’s participation on the subreddit r/SocialistRA, alongside other Reddit forums where he called himself a “communist” and said that “all” police are bastards. All of the posts have been deleted....

Fits right in with AOC, Mamdami, and that AG-WannaBee from Virginia--today's Democrat Party up-and-comers.  The difference between them and Antifa?  Antifa wears masks and has pre-placed piles of bricks ready to throw.

 Shannon Kobylarczyk, a Brewers fan who said “let’s call ICE” on a Latino Dodgers fan at Game 2 of the National League Championship Series, has been fired from her job, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Kobylarczyk, who worked for ManpowerGroup, also resigned from her role on the Make-A-Wish Wisconsin board of directors, the outlet added....

 The Dodgers fan was also ejected from the game AND banned for life from the Brewers' stadium.  Think about that before you declare that Kobylarczyk is some horrible-terrible-racist Karen Beeeyotch.

Her remark was edgy, but in keeping with the sparring-match that led up to it.  Even the Dodgers fan admitted it--when he sobered up:

Those who want illegal aliens present in the US usually mention--loudly and repeatedly--that illegals paid $25.7 BILLION into Social Security in 2022.

What they do NOT mention?

Total S.S. revenue in 2022 was $1.195 TRILLION.

In other words, the illegals "contributed" only 2.2% of total Social Security revenues.

That's not a surprise, considering that only about 15% of them are actually working.  The rest?  They find ways to scam welfare and healthcare--usually with "anchor" babies who are US citizens due to an insanity in the Left-majority Congress.

Their priorities include free healthcare for illegals and a massive deficit-generating "fix" for ObamaCare-caused medical cost increases.

Some of you recall James Sensenbrenner as a "Conservative" Republican.

...Back in the 80s, if I remember right, left-wing extremists began demanding that section 2 of the Voting Rights Act be read to require explicitly race-based gerrymandering to create majority-minority districts.

These majority-minority districts just so happened to be Democrat-supermajority districts, and this imposition was placed on the states of the old Confederacy, which just so happen to be Republican states.

Left-wing judges agreed with this idea, naturally, and began demanding that red states gerrymander their congressional districts to always guarantee Democrats of 3-4 bonus seats that they would never, ever have in a normal partisan gerrymander. While the blue states worked relentlessly to eliminate all Republican-leaning districts, or to pack all Republicans into just one or two districts to make sure every other district was Democrat-majority, Republicans have been forced by left-wing judges to always carve out special Democrats-Only districts....

Sensenbrenner, from his perch in Congress, pursued vigorous enforcement of  S.2 VRA's "legal" racism until the very end.

He also never gave a second thought to the Spy-On-YOU!! Act he voted for, and voted to renew.

But he carried around a copy of the Constitution, see?? 

The DPI Coverup: Teacher Sex Misconduct/Grooming

This is a pretty big story.  Kevin brings it:

A yearlong investigation by the Cap Times found the state Department of Public Instruction investigated more than 200 Wisconsin teachers, aides, substitutes and administrators from 2018 to 2023 who were accused of sexual misconduct or grooming behaviors toward students — information previously unknown to the public.

The department’s internal records show these allegations included educators sexually assaulting students, soliciting nude photos from children or initiating sexual relationships immediately after students graduated.

Licensing officials also investigated educators accused of grooming behaviors like flirting with children, spending non-school time alone and isolated with students, or invading students’ personal space by rubbing their shoulders, thighs and lower backs....

The Cap Times article does NOT say whether "investigations" became "prosecutions" and "convictions."  That's a very important distinction.

However:

 ... Licensing officials also allow educators under investigation to forfeit their credentials in exchange for avoiding in-depth probes.

· Unlike a different agency that regulates hundreds of other state-licensed professionals — like nurses and accountants — the Department of Public Instruction doesn’t tell the public why an educator lost their license. Advocates say this lack of transparency makes it easier for educator misconduct to avoid detection and happen again.

· Out of 461 teachers the state investigated from 2018 to 2023 for all forms of misconduct, 207 kept their credentials and could continue working in schools with children....

So..........250++ teachers LOST their credentials in that 5 year period--and recall that a couple of those were CoVid years when no kids were in school.

But China didn't work out exactly according to plan, did it?

 In its report on the hearing for the Chicago injunction--delaying or obviating Trump's deployment of the National Guard in Chicago--Fox News/Channel 6 relayed some unusual words.

The reporter in the courtroom stated that the Ass't US Attorney presenting Trump's case 'did not know the definitions' of various terms concerning the deployment, and 'did not have answers' for the judge's questions.

Either the US attorney in Chicago handed the case to an intern, or the Assistant US Attorney arguing the case deliberately sabotaged Trump.  There simply is no excuse for that level of incompetence.

Face it, Holy Father:  you have plenty of problems within the Church to deal with--beginning with the high level of 'morals' problems among your clergy in the Vatican and elsewhere around the world.

Maybe you should deal with those.

Maybe you should tell the US Bishops to forcefully declare artificial birth control to be a grave sin, instead of ignoring it as they have since the '60's.

Most of the "anti-Muslim sentiment" in this country is promoted and pushed by Israel sympathizers such as 'Tel Aviv Mark' Levin and the Senator from Jerusalem, Ted Cruz.  But be that as it may, Kilpatrick mentions a few VERY significant differences between Catholicism and Muhammedanism.

 The candidate for Virginia Attorney General, Jay Jones, stated that he was in favor of killing the children of Republicans.

 ...The Virginia House was honoring the memory of a long-time African American delegate who had just passed, and the Virginia Speaker, Todd Gilbert, a Republican, as well as other Republicans, had said the usual salutary boilerplate statements to praise the deceased.  

Jones then sent a series of text messages to a Republican delegate, where he scoffed at the “glowing” tributes that were being made by Republicans. “If those guys die before me,” Jones wrote, “I will go to their funerals to p*ss on their graves” to “send them out awash in something.” Jones then suggested that, presented with a hypothetical situation in which he had only two bullets and was faced with the choice of murdering then-Speaker of the House Todd Gilbert or two dictators, he’d shoot Gilbert “every time."

When the Republican delegate expressed her alarm, Jones called her to explain his reasoning over the phone, where he shockingly doubled down, and later he tripled down with more vile texts, which, among other things, called Gilbert’s children “little fascists” who deserved to die. ...

A report from CWB via Second City Cop tells us that what the "Highly-Trained Professional Reporters" tell you ain't............nearly............true.

 Chicago news outlets have published and aired seemingly endless images and videos from inside the South Shore apartment building raided by federal immigration agents this week. You’ve undoubtedly seen them: doors hanging open, apartments torn apart, and hallways left in disarray after the feds left.

What the outlets haven’t shared is what the building looked like before the raid. That’s why we’re here....

 ...CWBChicago obtained several videos recorded inside the building at 7500 South South Shore Drive that were posted to TikTok in September, about three weeks before the federal raid. The “before” footage is in some ways more shocking than the “after,” showing living conditions that appear unfit for rats, let alone humans....

More On the Comms Attack Plot in NYC

Another take on the big comms attack discovery in NYC, this from CBD via AOSHQ's cyber-queen.

 ...Over on the sidebar you'll find a link by CBD to an article about a planned attack against communications infrastructure in New York City, discovered and averted twelve days ago by the Secret Service.

They found 100,000 activated SIM cards and over 300 specialised (and, in the US, illegal) SIM servers set up to use them, in a handful of rented locations in the city, capable of sending out thirty million SMS messages per minute and overwhelming and crippling nearby cell towers.

The latest update us that the Secret Service has found another 200,000 SIM cards in another location nearby in New Jersey.

So the question is, who was behind this rather sophisticated plot, and what were they hoping to achieve? The Secret Service links it to China, which is probably true but only at the surface level.

Most likely this wasn't a nation-state planning a terror attack at all, but an organised crime ring using those hundreds of thousands of numbers to make scam calls. The hardware was probably smuggled from China, but not to declare war, just to make an illicit buck.

That's speculation, but what we know for sure - because it put the Secret Service on the track in the first place - is that this same network was used in swatting attacks against members of Congress in December of 2023....

CBD doesn't think it was the ChiComs.

But if that method and network was "swatting" Congress a couple of years ago,....

Hmmm.

🚀 In Hamdan v. Rumsfeld (2006), SCOTUS found that the “war on terror” against Al Qaeda was a “real war” for constitutional purposes. That ruling allowed treating Al Qaeda terrorists as enemy combatants who were not entitled to court hearings or traditional due process, and could be tried by military tribunals under the Geneva Convention....

This is not a good time to be hustling drugs into the US.  Boats are not the only targets the US Armed Forces can hit.

Ted Perry, a "Highly Trained Professional" news-reader at Fox6 read a silly story last night.  It was a pure propaganda piece, based on a pure propaganda poll.  

The poll was designed to intimate that Trump would disobey a Supreme Court judgment.  Of course, most of the respondents were 'concerned' that Trump would do so.

That's silly on its face.  Trump has never disobeyed ANY Court judgment during either of his terms in office.  The Highly Trained Professional (Perry, the news-reader) didn't bother to mention that; after all, Highly Trained Professionals don't have to tell you all the truth, do they?

But there's more!

Teddy turned on his Dark Doom Voice and went on.  The "poll" also found that most of those responding were 'fearful' that Trump would disobey SCOTUS.

Are you frightened yet?  Teddy is.

Yes, the Illegals Get Welfare. Who Benefits?

They get welfare, but not always directly.  

The Democrat/Welfare Complex is the perp and the beneficiary.

“Other members of their households, who are usually legal residents, make up the difference,” Richwine continues. “The head-household distinction is especially noticeable with Medicaid, as just 1 percent of illegal household heads receive Medicaid — typically in emergency situations — but receipt by other household members pushes the rate all the way up to 39 percent.”

As Richwine details, illegal aliens most often secure welfare benefits by having their U.S.-citizen children or relatives — with whom they reside — apply for the benefits....

This is why, in Wisconsin, hundreds of millions of dollars are spent to elect Democrat governors, Supreme Court justices, and attorney generals.  Much of Medicaid and almost all cash welfare is State money, not Federal; maintaining the scam requires Democrats in positions of power.  

More important, this is why "Birthright Citizenship" is crucial for the Democrat/Welfare Complex.    Should SCOTUS determine that there is no "born here/citizen here" right in the Constitution--and there is not--the Great Electromagnet will be shut off and the Democrat Party will wither.

Those white protesters?  Most are the camp-followers of the Illegal Welfare State; the rest are dupes--"useful idiots".  The money is going to lawyers, activists, politicians, and welfare-workers; all employed and living the Fat Life due to illegals getting welfare, or facilitating same in the Democrat/Welfare Complex.  Those are the people leading the protests and stirring the pot.  

The useful idiots?  They stand on the corner of Bluemound Road near Moorland and chant silly songs, holding stupid signs.

If you think welfare benefits should be for US citizens who are down on their luck or physically or mentally  incapable of work, this is your fight, too.  The system is being drained by the grifters and their illegals.  In the not-distant future, it will run out of money for our own people.  If you think foreign governments are going to buy US bonds forever, knowing the enormous risk attached, you are nuts.

Who Makes Money on ObamaCare Subsidies?

 A fact not published by the "trained professional journalists" in the TeeeVeee world of MKE.

... At issue are the generous subsidies the Biden administration created for Affordable Care Act policies, sweeteners that are slated to expire in December. Making healthcare essentially free for millions of Americans, those policies have skyrocketed enrollment in Obamacare plans. But a recent study found they have also sparked a curious phenomenon: an estimated 12 million enrollees "without a single claim -- no doctor visit, lab test, or prescription filled" in 2024....

So what?

Here's what:

...The Paragon Health Institute study reports that this is triple the number of no-claim policyholders before the Biden sweeteners were put in place. "Among those now eligible for zero-premium plans with low or no deductible," the study found, "that number increased nearly sevenfold. ... A whopping 40 percent of enrollees in fully subsidized plans had no claims in 2024. In 2024 alone, taxpayers sent at least $35 billion to insurers for people who paid no premiums and never used their plan," the report said....

We would hate to think that insurance firms stole the mail-in-voting technique of the Democrats.  But we can no longer be disappointed by fraud and theft from taxpayers, and as the study points out the Biden plan has no built-in controls.

Sure Enough: Bibi Sabotaged Trump's Peace Deal

We had speculated--privately--that Netanyahu would find a way to blow up the Trump deal.

And he did.

...But as Barak Ravid of Axios reported Tuesday, “The deal now before Hamas is significantly different than the one the U.S. and a group of Arab and Muslim countries had previously agreed on, due to Netanyahu's intervention.” According to Ravid’s sources, the “significant changes requested” by Netanyahu had infuriated Arab officials involved in the peace process.

The edits pertain to two sensitive matters—the withdrawal of Israeli forces and the disarmament of Hamas—and were negotiated during a six-hour meeting attended by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, the Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, and Netanyahu himself.

The updated proposal “ties Israel’s withdrawal to the progress of disarming Hamas, and gives Israel a veto over the process,” Ravid writes. Moreover, even if the phased withdrawal envisioned by the proposal is completed, “Israeli forces will still remain within a security perimeter inside Gaza ‘until Gaza is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.’ That could mean indefinitely.”...

Trump is beginning to look like a Chump.  Not only in the Middle East, but also in Eastern Europe, where the United States has zero, nada, zip vital national interests--but where Trump apparently will allow Kiev to demolish Russian energy infrastructure with US intel and missiles.

Typical Less-Than-Honest "Shutdown" Reporting

 As usual, the local "trained professional" nooz reports told less than half the story on the shutdown.

They whined and caterwauled about an increase in ObozoCare premiums, 'forgetting' that the increase is due to a temporary Covid-era tax credit.  Temporary, as in now-expired.  

But that's hardly the worst.

The "trained professionals" also "forgot" to mention that the extreme-left party wants taxpayers to provide healthcare for illegals.

Since that's an 80/20 matter, with 80% of US citizens opposing, the "trained professionals" spiked that part of the story.

"Trained" to be less-than-honest.  And they wear that with pride.
