Unemployment increased to 3.9%.  That's not a bad number, but the trend....is.......ahhhh.......not good.

But there's more!!

...Despite predictions of a robust 243,000 job increase, the actual figure fell significantly short at 175,000--with eventual revisions expected to lower that number further...

And even more than that!!

Also:  Underemployment is up.

Can't wait 'till SepTober, when people really pay attention.

Meantime, in California.....

A public health emergency has been declared in southern California after a tuberculosis outbreak left at least one person dead and nine hospitalized.

Health officials said the outbreak was localized to guests at a single-room occupancy hotel in Long Beach, which the city's health department has declined to identify.

A total of 14 cases of tuberculosis were confirmed as of Monday, but investigators have also identified 170 other people who may have been exposed, the City of Long Beach has revealed....

Hint to investigators:  see if Catholic Charities credit card was used at that hotel.

...Fox 7 reported that after Travis County police cleared out the University of Texas in Austin and arrested 80 people, they uncovered stashes of guns (yes, guns), chains, mallets, and bricks around the encampment. Furthermore, 45 of those arrested were not in any way affiliated with the Longhorns, either as students, faculty, or staff. . . 

People of the Jewish persuasion (such as Sefton, at the link) tell us this is all anti-Semitic (read:  anti-Jewish) grunting.

I'm not so sure about that.  Yes, some are there because they dislike Jews and may actually be protesting what appears to be an extreme over-reaction in Gaza by the IDF.

But it's larger than that.  This is the Permanent Revolution, financed by Soros (a Jew) and a number of other traditionally-revolutionary sources within the Tides Foundation.  (We're not the only ones with this view, either.)

The irony is that the Permanent Revolution's permanent cadre of leaders happen to be almost all Jews.  Or maybe it's not ironic, and this is merely a 'Shiny Object' moment for that cadre.

In any case, since they appear to be willing to start the shooting and maiming, it's prudent to take a bit of target practice before strolling into the campus, no?

To say that the Milwaukee Circuit Court system (and the DA's office) failed is really an understatement.

A 30-year-old suspect in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 4-year-old girl in Milwaukee on Tuesday morning was arrested Tuesday evening in Wauwatosa, according to Milwaukee Police.

TMJ4 has learned from multiple sources that the same suspect was convicted of knowingly operating a motor vehicle while suspended, causing death, back in Oct. 2018....

Oh.  So this isn't his first murder-by-car.

 ...Court records show that during the time of that crash, the 30-year-old was driving with a suspended license. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years in prison, but was released after only 10 months.

Digging deeper into court records, TMJ4 found that while on probation for that deadly crash, he was cited three more times in municipal court for driving with a suspended license and speeding....

Don't bet that the MKE "justice" system will get it right this time.

Pro Tip:  Stay the Hell out of Milwaukee.

Finally!! CIA Exposed

First you have to read their official denial:

Fourth Circuit Madness

And we mean "mad" as in barking-at-the-moon.  But that's the Left; that's what it does.

...The majority decision in the Fourth Circuit federal appeals court said existing constitutional rules forbidding sexual discrimination also forbid denials of transgender surgeries in state-run healthcare programs.

Any denial of the surgeries cannot be enforced without first deciding if the patient is male or female by checking their biology and asking for their “gender identity,” the court said. Judge Roger Gregory wrote that the determination of male or female status would be “obviously discriminatory” because...
