The White House is lying--again--about inflation. How much is it lying?
Depends on how you look at the numbers.
Let's go all the way back to 2019, when the CPI Index was at 255.657 (using '82-'84 as 100).
In 2020, the last year of Trump, it was 258.81. That's a 1.2% increase in CPI from '20.
Then we got Biden and Pelosi.
2021: CPI was 270.97
And year-end 2022??
292.65.
That's real JoeFlation: 13.07% increase since he was installed.
