More on the Windows Vulnerability

Microsoft has yet to issue a patch for its latest vulnerability--but someone else created one, which was favorably reviewed by SANS Storm-Center, ComputerWorld, and F-Secure.

You can read about it here: Computerworld

Good Luck!! The vulnerability is serious and is predicted to get a lot MORE serious over the next 10 days or so.

Jeff--the GRC recommended solution is the same one I referenced in the blog. Small world, eh?

Supposedly the Microshaft-developed fix (I strongly suspect it will look a LOT like the unofficial one from Ilfak Guilfanov) will be out around January 10.
