EPA wrote the analysis.
Tough new rules proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency restricting greenhouse gas emissions would reduce the global mean temperature by only 0.006 to 0.0015 of a degree Celsius by the year 2100, according to the EPA's analysis.
Yah, I know. You think that .0010 (one-one hundredth of a degree) is kinda small.
Until you read about the effects.
The GOP minority report, issued last Wednesday, said a series of proposed and partially implemented new regulations on industrial boilers, greenhouse gas emitters, and ozone levels will put over 800,000 jobs at risk...
See? That's the benefit!! Less of that damnfool US economic activity.
And there's a secondary effect, not mentioned by EPA: 800,000 less people driving around to their jobs, using up heat and air-conditioning in factories and offices, driving to stores to buy (useless capitalist-pig) stuff like food, medications, clothing......
Hell, it'll be nirvana!

The goal is the 800,000 fewer (private-sector) jobs, not the 0.006 degree change.
