Priebus Gets It!

Kudos to Reince Priebus, who figured out early that the TEA Party was not "the enemy."

As a result, his Party's Wisconsin candidates conformed their platforms to TEA Party principles (more or less), and will now govern the State.

Now and then one hears "Big Gummint" chat from (R) folks; Governor Walker, for example, kinda still likes State control of LOCAL prop-tax decisions, and a Waukesha County (R) Representative told me last night that Vrakas' tax-hike on Waukesha County taxpayers was 'forgivable.'

Priebus' next challenge--and it is a big one--is to bleach the brains of (R) elected officials and implant the Principle of Subsidiarity firmly into their thoughts.

That will be tough to do, but so far, he's on the right (pun, yup) track.

And he will do well to remember--indelibly--that the TEA Party happens to be quite a powerful force. Big Spend, Big Tax, Big Debt, Big Gummint Republicans?

Screw 'em.

We shall see if they maintain the momentum.
