Not real surprising.
At this point, the Transportation Security Administration, in consultation with our counter-terrorism experts, have indicated to me that the procedures that they've been putting in place are the only ones right now that they consider to be effective against the kind of threat that we saw in the Christmas Day bombing. --Obama
Israel would differ.
And it's not a surprise that Obama fails to note that the 'Christmas bomber' was NOT on TSA's no-fly list despite several red-flag conditions.
Because Obama thinks you're "stupid," too.

I don't know where to start on this but the stupidity is rampant. People will only accept so much and these idiots can't figure out that they crossed the line. They actually threaten security by doing this.
Also, I can't believe there was no prior public feedback. Several years ago I was at the Knoxville airport where the "sniffer" detector was being tested. You walk in, it blows some air, you walk out. Outside they had someone with a Palm Pilot asking questions about whether I felt it was too long of a delay (10 seconds, no problem)or too intrusive (nope). So, where is the leap from this to the idiocy today?

Chicago elections. More voters than adult residents in some Milwaukee wards. "Delete" buttons on computers and voice-mail boxes.
