In fact, the tech colleges are NOT 'accountable' nor 'responsive' to the local community. Tech college boards are NOT elected to their positions; they are appointed and/or serve ex officio. Accountability for their spending and taxing is zero.
And there's the "fun with forgetting important facts" game!!
..."We've seen what they've done with the (University of Wisconsin) System, which is essentially bleed it dry," said Michael Rosen, a retired Milwaukee Area Technical College professor and former state Technical College System Board member....
It took me 5 seconds to confirm that Michael Rosen is ALSO the ex-President of the MATC teachers' union. He's a radical Leftist (go ahead, google him) who has secured the very best salary and benefits package for his union pals. Easy to do when the Board has ZERO accountability!
No doubt this young sprite cub reporter will be lectured by her editor, right?
