is that a man or a woman holding that sign?
Hmmm, because 2 men holding hands is not natural. 2 men holding guns is an exercise of a Right Guaranteed by The Constitution. Now, no one is trying to ban men holding hands. Sadly, the same can't be said of a Constitutional Right.
Golly - that is quite the philosopical question.
I'm sure a reasonable discussion could be had with this person.
Billiam nailed it.
Yes, Billiam did, with an extension: we are also endowed with a God-given right to protect ourselves, and Catholic teaching recognizes that right beyond even the Constitution.
I have no issue seeing guys holding or showing other signs of affection. It's the implied sexual relationship that's disturbing.
As for two men holding guns, short of personal knowledge of them and their intentions would make me feel extremely uncomfortable. At the gun range or in the woods is one thing. On Locust and King is another. Holstered is generally no issue.
I think two guys holding hands is cute, but two guys holding guns doesn't do it for me.
Come on, people, it is Psych 101
I think we banned holding each others' guns.
What about men holding guns?
I think this picture, even if it is obviously staged propaganda, makes a good case for that being ok...

As for myself, I don't have a problem with men holding hands. It's their life. I may disagree with it, and think it's wrong, but that's as far as I'll push it, other than voting against gay marriage, that is. Also, MZ has a point. I'm all for the legal holding of guns. Thugs, on the other hand, usually don't bother jumping through the same hoops we Law abiding citizens do.
Gee, Billiam, how kind and compassionate of you to say it's OK for them to hold hands... but to let one of them into the hospital room while the other is dying, that's against what?
And when Bush was holding hands with Arabic leaders on his Texas ranch, that's what?
I prefer to hold two guns in my two hands. Imagine Clint Eastwood style.
