Marinette's mayor told a group trying to recall state Senator Dave Hansen that it's not allowed in city hall.
Those trying to recall the Democratic senator wanted to circulate petitions at Marinette City Hall as they're doing in Oconto and Green Bay. But, Mayor Bob Harbick said he didn't want the same kind of disruption that's happened at the Capitol in Madison. Harbick said his decision is logical and non-partisan.
Obviously Green Bay and Oconto called in the National Guard; that's why we haven't heard of the riots, disorder, and spray-painted buildings/superglued locks.
Now we can get to the REAL reason:
The mayor also said he doesn't believe in what the group is trying to do.
Coulda just said that first, Mayor.
