Barry found the most useful chart known to man for the Nuke Update of today.
Pay attention: switching from the Greek "mu" to the Roman "m" makes a big difference in dosage.
As you will note, after studying that chart for a while, living in your brick home for a year hits you with 20x the dosage of one day in the average town near Fukushima--that day being March 17th.

Hey Daddio,
The Japanese should not be too concerned about dose, it will come and go. But intake of radioactive materials can be with them forever.

Since we heard yesterday that xenon and krypton are still about, hopefully that’s what’s swirling. Because if worse isotopes hang in the air, in such quantity that they’re changing dose rates, respiratory protection is critical.
