Van Hollen Imitates Lift-Und-Schlepp-'Em

While Doyle fulminates about enforcing election laws (a function of the Attorney General's office), he conveniently forgets that Peg Lautenschlager also sent a bunch of State agents out to monitor elections in 2004.

Van Hollen spokesman Bill Cosh said the 50 Department of Justice officials have been assigned to polls in these 12 regions: Milwaukee, Madison, Waukesha, Racine/Kenosha, Beloit/Janesville, Wausau/Stevens Point, Hudson, La Crosse, Appleton/Fox Valley, Eau Claire, Green Bay and Superior.

In 2004, then-Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager, a Democrat, assigned 38 agents and lawyers to polling places in 11 regions, Cosh added

Who knows? You could find a "respected legislator" electioneering someplace.
