The tax haul taken by the State of Wisconsin took a dive in March. Adjusted individual income tax collections fell by 23% against last year's figures.
Overall General Purpose Revenues (taxes, not Fed grants) dropped an adjusted 6.3% from last year.
Sales tax revenue was up 6.2%--but April's numbers will be a lot worse.
However, Y-T-D revenues, raw and adjusted, are up over last year, with adjusted up 5.1%.
Wanna bet that takes a massive dump after April's numbers come in??
