A disability rights group and others sued Wisconsin election officials Monday to try to ensure the state has enough poll workers and guarantee voters who want absentee ballots receive them, adding to a cascade of litigation over how elections should be run as the coronavirus pandemic persists....You'll be SHOCKED to know they filed this thing in Madistan so they'd get this State's pre-eminent Hack-in-Black, Bill (Bozo) Conley--the Reversal King of elections lawsuits!
...It aims to force election officials to hire more poll workers, send absentee ballot request forms to all registered voters, set up secure drop boxes for absentee ballots in every community and notify voters if their ballots won’t be counted so they have time to fix any problems....
This all sounds so......nice! And like Unicorn Farts, and Rainbows, an' stuff!!
It's all bullshit.
1) Choo-Choo Barret and some insignificant twit-Mayor in Green Bay set up the "hire more people" game by blatantly refusing to open polling places in April. They should be charged, arrested, and indicted for their crimes.
2) Sending forms to "registered voters"--what a scam that is, since there are TWO HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND "registered voters" who don't seem to live at the address from which they "registered." And it won't be a problem for these "activists" to find another 240,000 if they need 'em. There are plenty of boxes and car-trunks around.
3) The "secure drop-box for votes" thing tells you that these "community organizers" think you are as dumb as a sack of rocks. That might apply to "Hack" Conley, of course--and that's all they need.
It gets better!!
...One aspect of the new case that differentiates it from the others is that it was brought by voters who claim they were directly harmed by how the April 7 election was conducted.Jill Swenson of Appleton has early stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD. She received an absentee ballot but couldn’t find a witness to sign it for her because she lives alone and did not want to leave her home or have visitors because of health concerns. After Conley ruled in the other cases that voters like her could cast absentee ballots without a witness, Swenson mailed in her ballot. Later that day, an appeals court overturned Conley’s ruling and Swenson’s ballot was not counted, according to the new lawsuit....
Apparently Ms. Conley has NO relatives and her "friends" are not really friends. It's also possible that she's lying like Hell, which is a hallmark of lonely attention-seeker Lefties, but .......hey........no one's going to investigate her story.
By the way, be sure to check out the "non-partisan" groups shoving this load of crap into Conley's office. Links are provided in the news article. It's a load of laughs.

Interesting. I thought Republicans champion states’ rights/local control.** Perhaps they will rally against their President who is challenging such notions.

Trump has claimed that this policy is ripe for corruption– “Breaking: Michigan sends absentee ballots to 7.7 million people ahead of Primaries and the General Election,” Trump tweeted. “This was done illegally and without authorization by a rogue Secretary of State. I will ask to hold up funding to Michigan if they want to go down this Voter Fraud path!”
We had a local election in California with national implications. A Republican won a House seat over a Democrat. The voting was done primarily through mail-in ballots. Should not the California election be investigated, again on the basis of Trump’s position? I DON’T KNOW IF THERE WAS ACTUAL CORRUPTION THAT TOOK PLACE. I am simply indicating that apparently Trump thinks they could have been malfeasance.
Notice how two Republican Secretaries of State–Nevada and Georgia–have met CITIZEN REQUESTS for absentee ballots that will be sent in by mail. Are these actions by these officials “done illegally”? Of course, Trump could refrain from releasing those funds to Michigan, but what specific evidence is there that voting by mail has led to corruption on a widespread, persistent basis?
**In the link it says “Republicans in Congress for years have resisted efforts to inject federal oversight into state and local elections.”
Yesterday, Trump was asked 4 times in 6 minutes what is illegal about Michigan sending absentee ballot applications to registered voters and what federal funding he would withhold.
Trump dodged 4 times. Snicker-snack.
