Romney: "Kill the Innocent for the Sin of Their Father? OK by Us!"

I seriously doubt that Ryan had any input into this crap:

The Romney-Ryan campaign had a statement last night on Rep. Akin's idiotic rape comment: "Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan disagree with Mr. Akin's statement, and a Romney-Ryan administration would not oppose abortion in instances of rape."--quoted at AOSHQ

While Akin bumbled badly (and has since clarified), the Romney campaign has taken bumbling to new orders of magnitude with that utterance.  They approach Bidenism.

Does Romney REALLY mean to say that he will not oppose 'killing a child because of his father's sin'?

REALLY?

Now watch:  the RomneyBozos will yammer that it's "....not a Federal issue anyway."  (which it isn't, unless you believe Griswold and Roe are rightly decided--which they most assuredly are not.)

Okay Dad, this is another of Paul Ryans TARP moment and we will not accept Bullshit from you nor Ryan.
Is this is his go to heaven moment or go to hell moment? I suppose only God know...

Does Ryan publicly distance himself from this statement? or does he quietly acquiesce to grave moral evil?

For the good of my own soul, I will not vote for Obama or Romney.

Ok. I gotta weigh in on this one. I have mixed feelings about the rape/incest question. No, the baby isn't at fault, but man... Rape is not something that affects the psyche lightly.

That said...

Gomer Akin needs to go. Now. What he said about a woman's body being able to fend off "legitimate" rape sperm. So, if you happen to be one of the 5% of raped women that gets pregnant from it, you, what, secretly enjoyed it? Good googly moogly. That has got to be one of the dumbest, offensive, and most ignorant sentences ever uttered by a political candidate this century. Un.freaking.believable. Romney does well to distance himself from this idiot.

Missouri should have listened to Sarah Palin.

........Romney could have, if he had the slightest interest in the unborn beyond their utility in getting himself elected, have made that case. Instead, he forced his prolife Catholic Veep to prostitute his convictions for Party Unity and now prolifers are, as has been their custom for 30 years, finding ways to make excuses for that. The consoling myth that “once they are elected, we’re going to hold their feet to the fire” is one of the most enduring delusions of the prolife movement. This little episode is just a foretaste of what to expect. Or perhaps an aftertaste of what we’ve done for 30 years............

Yuch, Ryan makes me want to puke.
