Perry's "Land Deals": Meh

Bloomberg ran a story on "Perry's Land Deals" which, frankly, is more text than substance.  To earn $1 million on land transactions in the early 2000's didn't require chicanery; simple foresight or dumb luck could have produced the same results, although foresight is better.

And there is no little irony here; one of the property deals involved acreage on Lake Lyndon Johnson.  That lake is named for one of the more ........ahhh........ethically challenged Texans ever to drink beer while breaking speed limits.

As the BofA rep told Perry at a recent fundraiser, "We're here to help."
