Evidently Tony Evers passed his math tests. He knows that if you add a bunch of zeros into a column, the average of that column will decrease.
Then he shows us how!!
Wisconsin Lutheran High School, for instance, was reported by DPI as having 46.8% of choice kids scoring well in reading. Wrong: Remove the opt-outs, and 53.7% scored well – not stellar, but better. At Milwaukee Lutheran High School, the state claims 38.8% of choice kids score well in reading. No, it’s 51.3%.
Oh, there's more--including using that deception on a highly-regarded Waldorf-method school.
