Obozo's War on (Domestic) Energy: The Costs

Just to hammer home a point...

Wood Mackenzie’s analysis found that U.S. policies which encourage the development of new and existing resources could, by 2030, increase domestic oil and natural gas production by over 10 million boed, support an additional 1.4 million jobs, and raise over $800 billion of cumulative additional government revenue.  --quoted at PowerLine

It's not just 'energy security.'  It's jobs, tax revenues, and (potentially) a decrease in energy costs.

However, ideology drives the Obozo.

"ideology drives the Obozo."

Really? And what drove Reagan or Bush? What drives Bachmann, Paul?

Seems to me that if a public official isn't driven by ideology, then it's just a job.

In the context of the post, Jim (pay attention!!) the ideology of "Green" is enforced to the detriment of the nation.

There are plenty of instances where ideology is erroneous: 'nation-building' comes to mind--a fault of TRoosevelt magnified by Wilson and GWBush.

But the post was about Green Idiocy.

Meanwhile, Obozo has opened more potential resources to exploration than his predecessor, and continues to morph into a Teapublican with each passing day.

In the context of this post (pay attention Dad), the assertion that enforcing "green" policy is ideology to the detriment of the nation is short sited.

In the context of this response Jim, pay attention, my creditors want payment in the short term and people need to eat in the short term.

The lofty vision on the horizon fades when you are out of work and hungry.
