More to come, soon, and fast.
The American Civil Liberties Union is suing a small, family-owned Vermont inn for allegedly refusing to host a lesbian couple’s wedding reception.
...The ACLU says the Vermont Human Rights Law prohibits public accommodation — hotels and small inns included — from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation. --CNS quoted at Zippers
The objective is to crush opposition, not merely tolerate it. That is to say, "tolerance" is a one-way street.

"Kiss your freedoms goodbye."
Same sex marriage is legal in Vermont. How would you feel if the inn refused to host a mixed=race marriage?
If the innkeepers can't host a lesbian wedding, they should get out of the wedding reception business.
Jim: I wouldn't sue, but I'd do my utmost to let people know what I thought of them.
Also, there is a difference between interracial marriage and what is presented as gay marriage. The former is still between man and woman, and Catholic teaching has never opposed it (otherwise, we wouldn't have St. Martin de Porres).
Gee. Playing the race card already?
Stultified, huh...
A legal marriage is a legal marriage regardless of what the Catholic church says.
Dad, I played no race card. I offered a logical legal argument.
Now if I claimed that the lesbians were black and that had something to do with it, that might be playing the race card.
But you see any mention of a person of color, regardless of the reference, as playing the race card. I didn't.
mixed=race marriage?
Not very subtle.
Abortion is legal murder. Doesn't change the nature of the beast, which is mala in se, as are homosex relations.
A legal marriage is a legal marriage regardless of what the Catholic church says.
And the First Amendment still applies to Catholics, regardless of what gay-rights advocates say.
Which is why, of course, the left's insistence that legalizing gay marriage will never, ever force the Catholic Church (or any other Christian denomination that holds to one man + one woman = actual marriage) to recognize gay marriage is total B.S.
It's the law after all.
And if Dan and John or Sue and Beth decide that Catholic cathedral down the road is just the perfect venue for their "wedding", well, the church can't say no because "it's the law."
Guess what?
Slavery was the law too, regardless of what the Catholic Church said.
That doesn't make the law right or moral.
No doubt the WisGOP could teach them a few techniques, though.
Man/Woman legal bond or Caucasian/Negro legal bond.
There is no logical comparison. Apples and oranges are at least fruit.
