Obama THE Beneficiary of Murdoch's Empire

Gee. What a shocker!

Political donations by News Corp., its employees and their families were evenly split between Democrats and Republicans, with President Obama the all-time leading recipient, according to a report from the Sunlight Foundation. --The Hill at Zippers

From Zippers combox (this provides CONTEXT)...

Roger Ailes who runs Fox News is a strong, partisan Republican. No doubt about it. But Rupert Murdoch has always been pragmatic about his politics. Before the 2008 elections, Murdoch said he was excited about Obama and called him a “rock star”. There reportedly was tension between Ailes and Murdoch when it was leaked that Murdoch was planning to endorse Obama in the New York Post. Ailes pursuaded Murdoch to back down and not make the endorsement.

Since Ailes has turned Fox into a money machine for News Corp, Murdoch is never going to intervene in how Ailes runs it. But when Ailes finally decides to retire, then I worry about what could happen to Fox when that happens.

He gave money to Democrats therefore Fox News doesn't spin to favor conservatives. Got it. Follow the logic!

Fox "spins" toward conservative. So?

NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Univision, BBC, NPR, NYT, WaPo, etc., etc., etc..... "spin" toward liberal.

Gotta love Contessa Brewer beclowning herself again today. I can't believe she went national, she was an idiot on the MKE local news.
