Well, that's just silly.
After all, there's plenty of corn. At least, that's what the CornAHole specialists tell us.
Ethanol producers acknowledge they've increased demand for corn but say it's not enough to affect food prices.
Matt Hartwig, a spokesman for the Renewable Fuels Association, said the ethanol industry only uses about 25 percent of the nation's corn supply --AmSpec quoting AP
And corn, ya know, that's hardly useful at all. People eat it, cattle eat it, chickens eat it--but hey, that "supply-chain" stuff doesn't count in ag; only in manufacturing, hey!!
So burning corn? It's a GOOD thing!

Yah- how could 25% waste affect anything? Another obvious indicator of an academic who has never had a job actually making something that requires a profit margin to stay in business.
