If you read between the lines, you discern that increases in justice-system funds should come from higher taxes.
Wrong take.
Simply cut $300 million or so from the overbloated SCHOOL budget and turn it over to the justice system. No tax increase, problem solved!

Actually, we could also add $5-10 to every case and that would do the trick, too. I like the idea of making offenders pay for the cost of the system.
Yah, well, I consider the public schools to be the most egregious offenders in the State.
Not criminally chargeable, but offenders.
