Doyle's Plan: Eliminate Gasoline from Wisconsin

So happens I know one of the Schmidt family members.

Here, FoxPolitics quotes from his testimony at a Budget hearing in Appleton.

“Passage of an oil profits tax will have devastating consequences to business, industry and the Wisconsin people.” And [now I’m paraphrasing a bit] big oil will not hesitate to divert product from Wisconsin. Though they have not said it outright, be assured many suppliers have put us on notice. Supplies will be short and prices will be higher. We will have to lose money on every gallon.

Doyle knew that, of course--he's not stupid, he just doesn't give a flying damn. He's dug a budget hole that is impossible to get out of, and it's all shuck-and-jive going forward.

But hey! When cap-and-tax hits here, there won't be anyone around to purchase gasoline anyway!

So who cares?

I pray Gov. Culver &/or the Dems in the State Legislature don't get a whiff of this, they just might follow suit because of their budget screw ups over here.

Two thoughts:

1) Flush the D0ylet;
2) Buy more ammo.
