BreckBoy Edwards: WallyWorld Hypocrite

Just love this stuff:

Yesterday, a staff person for former Sen. Edwards contacted a Wal-Mart electronics manager in Raleigh, North Carolina to obtain a Sony PlayStation3 on behalf of the Senator's family. Later that night, Sen. Edwards reportedly re-told a homespun story to participants of a United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) union-sponsored call about how his son had chided a fellow student for purchasing shoes at Wal-Mart.

So he 1) shops at WallyWorld; 2) tries to "skip the line" by making a management contact instead of waiting; and 3) tells the UFCW that shopping at WallyWorld is a bad thing.

What a guy!

The motto of the Democratic party should be "Do as we say, not as we do".

On every one of their platforms, their actions and their words don't mesh.

Abortion? They say, keep it "safe, legal, and rare" yet they freak when abortion rates drop, seeing that as some kind of "oppression" of women.

The environment? They say, "live a carbon-neutral lifestyle". While they drive around in limos, they expect us to walk everywhere and sit at home in the dark at night.

Big-business? Wal-Mart is bad, but John Edwards has no problem using Wal-Mart to get a video game system for his son. Which means WE who do not have massive salaries shouldn't shop at Wal-Mart, but John Edwards can.

Wow.

Rush was all over this story today as well. The Breck Girl is just prettier version of Jim Doyle. And just about as stupid.
