The Gibson Affair: Boston Glob/NYSlimes' Take

It's simple. Gibson is anti-Semitic because he's Catholic (or Christian, if you like)

"Anti-Semitism comes easily to those who believe that their faith or political system is the final answer," the Globe informs us. "The very existence of Jews serves as an affront to claims of absoluteness." Huh? That facile statement might apply to totalitarian ideologies.

I knew that's where this would end up about 1 hour after it began. The Glob merely had to set the type, accounting for the delay.

Yea, it all boils down to his faith. Any other star, this would be dead in the water.

Well history does show Catholics have a 'thing' about Jews.
