Remember the Name "Sackett"

SCOTUS is taking a very important case.  Our Dictator-Wannabe is watching, as is the Green Goddess.

You want to build a home, so you buy a $23,000 piece of land in a residential subdivision in your hometown and get started. The government then tells you to stop, threatens you with $40 million in fines and is not kidding.

That would be EPA, of course.

9th Circus told the Sacketts to go to Hell, just like some District choompawock judge.

Sacketts are under the impression that the 5th Amendment applies to EPA takings.

The Sacketts are just sillypeople. Don't they know that the government owns all and just "allows" us to be tenants? Private ownership? Property Rights? WTF are you talking about? Delta smelt, snail darters, land vermin, wolves, birds, bugs....all far more important than Natural Rights.

Even if they win, the Sacketts are in for a lifetime of harassment from EPA. The Feds WILL get their "pound of flesh". EPA is filled with "watermelons" now. There is very little in the way of common-sense regulation. My-way-or-highway.

Deekaman: Are you saying the EPA will be arrogant enough to pull an Andy Jackson, should SCOTUS rule in favor of the Sacketts?

Why not Dave? The Constitution means little to most in DC these days. From either party.
