Yup. President Disaster Cut Off Delphi Pensions

Not that anyone's surprised, but a lot of Milwaukee-area people were bodyslammed here.

New emails obtained by The Daily Caller contradict claims by the Obama administration that the Treasury Department would avoid “intervening in the day-to-day management” of General Motors post-auto bailout.

These messages reveal that Treasury officials were involved in decision-making that led to more than 20,000 non-union workers losing their pensions.

...Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner decided to cut pensions for salaried non-union employees at Delphi, a GM spinoff, to expedite GM’s emergence from bankruptcy.

There's another reason this is a big deal: the Administration flat-out lied about whether it was 'involved' in the decision.

Yah, you're shocked. /sarcasm

Not clear in this is whether it is current employees or also retirees who are being cut. It is germaine to me because my father-in-law (who voted Obama for reasons we have yet to figure out) is a Delphi retiree. Deekawife 3.0 refuses to speak to him, but I'm pretty sure does not wish this on him.

A sin that cries Out to Heaven

Deuteronomy 24:14-24:15

14 You shall not withhold the wages of poor and needy labourers, whether other Israelites or aliens who reside in your land in one of your towns. 15 You shall pay them their wages daily before sunset, because they are poor and their livelihood depends on them; otherwise they might cry to the Lord against you, and you would incur guilt.

President Disaster?

Ahhh, what a cute new pet name! I'd stick with it - cuz if you can't dethrone President Disaster next year, it'd send a strong message about your side's diminished capacity to get it up.

Only a Leftist would come up with such a "funny" little phrase. If only your collective Richards were bigger, you might make a pinch of Shiite.

The Left is losing. They continue to lose every time in nearly every state. It is nearly funny to watch them so incredibly and psychotically in denial. Their continued temper tantrum seems to be somewhat flaccid these days as they can't get it up enough to stick it to the Governor and the rest of the Right.

Suck it, Anon. It's what you are good at.
