More of the Same ObozoConomy Coming Right Up!!

We mentioned this a week or so ago, but it's worth a re-run.

Two new EPA pollution regulations will slam the coal industry so hard that hundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost, and electric rates will skyrocket 11 percent to over 23 percent, according to a new study based on government data.

Overall, the rules aimed at making the air cleaner could cost the coal-fired power plant industry $180 billion, warns a trade group.

Near 60% of your electric bill is from coal-fired generators. You'll love the increase!!

We're not done yet:

The Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that it has awarded $17.4 million for pilot projects that will begin exploring how to establish a market for greenhouse gas (GHG) credits, a key component of a cap and trade system, to help reduce carbon and other emissions that apparently contribute to global warming. --HT Zippers

If it costs nothing else, that's $17.5 mill down the toilet. How many children would THAT feed?

If nothing else, 17.5 mil would settle a few clergy abuse cases. That's a good chunk of change.

What? Now you want the government to feed children? That sounds vaguely Communist or Christian to me.

Let's see, 17.5 Million.
If the Government feeds the kids they will, of course, have to be union so you would need, someone to feed the kids, a supervisor, a safety advisor, a union rep, a sanitary inspector, and of course you would need a union food prep person, a union food prep safety advisor, and a union rep for the food safety prep union, you would need a union guy to drive the food there, a union rep for the drivers and a union safety advisor. All told with 17.5 mill you could feed one child 2 meals.
