It's Still Prosser, by a LOT

Steve has done all the heavy lifting (including lifting at the Pubbie/Waukesha County event.)

Still Prosser by 7,000++ votes.

Only 400 pissant objections in Waukesha County, by the way. Was out there on Saturday and the pissant objector was quiet while I was present. Coincidence? I think not.

400 objections! Was that for all of Waukesha County so far, or just in their attempt to nullify the City of Brookfield?

You'd have to ask Steve--but what difference would it make whether Waukesha County as a whole, or Brookfield only?

The game is directed at the Waukesha County Clerk.

More curiosity I guess. Because they were all A-OK with the Waukesha County results before Brookfield got added to them. From this far away, it looks like they are trying to get Brookfield thrown out.

All they are trying to do is hold off seating Prosser until the Budget Repair Bill gets past SCOWI. On a 3-3 tie, the deciding vote becomes....wait for it....Secretary of State Laff-a-Lott...er...LaFollette. Which way do you think he'll go? Sumi will make sure it works this way.

And how did a state-wide election come under the jurisdiction of a county judge? How f-d up is that?

When is Prosser's current term officially over?

It appears his term ends 7/31, but I can't find it anywhere official.

I thought SCOWI is taking up Sumi's Folly in just a couple of weeks... Is Prosser recusing himself?

That's 400+ objections for the county, and by my math, at least 130 for the city of Brookfield. They range from individual ballots to entire ballot bags, so they involve far more than 400 votes.

We'll see if the game is to "simply" disenfranchise about 15,000 voters or 2/3rds of Waukesha County (plus the nuns in Sauk County) by 8:30 tomorrow morning; the court case to extend the recount deadline goes before a Dane County judge at 8 am Monday.

Prosser's current term does indeed end on 7/31. There is no reason for him to recuse himself from the Act 10 case.

While there may be no need for Prosser to recuse himself, he will either be pressured into doing so or pressured into siding with the Lefties. I don't know how susceptible he is, but the pressure will be nearly unbearable from the Lefty Press. Expect throngs of unionistas and fellow travelers to storm the Capital and maybe SCOWI itself for the proceedings. I put nothing past them.

The Left will do their level best to disenfranchise all who vote "the wrong way". They have shown themselves willing to do so ("This is what democracy looks like").

They'll certainly attempt to pressure him--and maybe do their stupid-assed drum-circle-jerk/6th grade rhymes again. (That's why Capitol security has not yet opened all the Capitol building doors...)

Maybe this time there'll be a little CS or CN to accompany their ululations.

CN. Awesome.
