What's Good for GE Is Good for.............GE

Charlie Wilson be damned. That silly "America" stuff is so.....passe.

There's ANOTHER Obozo Administration "Council", this time about 'jobs and competitiveness.'

GE CEO Jeff Immelt will be its chairman.

...Immelt isn't serving on the panel out of love of Obama or loyalty to Democrats: he "counts former President Ronald Reagan as a ‘personal hero,'" and donated $2,300 to both Hillary Clinton and John McCain in the 2008 election. Nor is Immelt concerned about fairness, competitiveness, or the free market: as he has explained, "It's never been a free market; it's never gonna be a free market. That's just the way it is." And: "The fact that I'd like GE to work in concert with where government policy is in the U.S. doesn't mean that I'm a traitor or a bad guy, I think it's just being practical that that's gotta happen."

The AmSpec blog mentions GECapital's amazing route to FDIC insurance, the almost-equally amazing "Green" $$billions flowing to GE.....

How was Fascism defined, again?

Reagan as "personal hero"? I just threw up in my mouth on that one. Immelt is the Devil as much as Sebelius is. He is in league with this administration and their designs on Socialism. He thinks he will be the one left standing. More like the one the alligator is eyeballing.

This is nothing more than political payback.

No comment. But the water cooler talk was hoping that this would finally require him to step down. Followed by much disappointment.
