Feingold (and Others) in November

A friend asked if the anti-(D) mood would hold until November.

Well, assuming no "black swan" moments, it certainly will.

Fortunately, the Democrats controlling Congress and the White House have turned into kamikaze pilots. They rammed ObamaCare where the sun doesn't shine--and now they plan to ram Cap-n-Tax AND Immigration "Reform" into the same spot on your anatomy.

Thus ensuring that the anti-(D) anger will last long past November.

I'm thinking 2030 or so...

The Leftists were sure we would be in the Wilderness for 30 years. I think they may be headed there for 40.

At this point, there doesn't appear to be a single vulnerable WI House seat. While I think any of the 3 GOPer challengers to Feingold would be an improvement, I wouldn't even bet your money on a GOP win. There will be no interesting legislation until after November. In the end regulatory reform should pass 80/20 or 70/30. The GOP has thrown up some trial balloons opposing it, but I don't think they will in the end. There isn't enough consensus on the dem side for immigration reform. Cap-n-trade would need significant committee work and no work is going to be done over the summer recess.
