One of the more inane arguments pushed by the Right about 'economic growth' is that ObamaCare, Cap/Tax, and Spendulus are killing hiring.
Get real.
There are TWO factors which drive increased hiring in the macro:
1) Increased demand (sales) of the product/service; and
2) Profitability of those sales.
If sales are not going north, there will be no hires. If (gross) profits on those sales are not maintaining, or going north, there will be no hires.
Yes, prospective (but un-quantifiable) costs can discourage hiring; on the other hand, temporary and/or contract hires are the workaround.
At least get the foundations right, eh?
