That's different from TARP-for-GM/Chrysler how, other than the fact that there has not (yet) been a tax-increase at the Federal level to absorb the massive losses the country will absorb on the deals?

This is indicative of the exact problem with most candidates of the two major parties, "XXXXXXX" (pick your favorite topic) is bad if the other party is doing it but if my party is doing it, well, we're on the side of right so it must be OK!
