What did the Nazis stand for?
...they were thoroughgoing economic statists, marketed themselves as a socialist worker’s movement, pushed a platform with numerous planks that could come straight from modern-day liberals and did in fact come from 20th century American progressives, were obsessed with health food and anything “natural” or “organic,” and campaigned persistently to undermine, subvert and replace the authority and legitimacy of Christianity...
Yah, that certainly fits the "rightist" profile, unless .......is it possible........that "historians" lie?

True, but arguably, neo-nazis in the US are fringe far right.
Just as "arguably" they are far-Left. The fact that the Commies did not (apparently) have racial-target groups changes nothing else about the big picture.
Put another way: the Commies use economic-classes; the Nazis used race-classes. Same picture, different frames.
OK. I can buy that. Sometimes the far left and far right intersect.
All I have to add is to remind everyone what Nazi was short for - National Socialist.
