Murder Is Always Wrong...

I just cannot condone this crap.

George Tiller, the Wichita doctor who became a national lightning rod in the debate over abortion, was shot to death this morning as he walked into church services.

Tiller, 67, was shot just after 10 a.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church at 7601 E. 13th, where he was a member of the congregation. Witnesses and a police source confirmed Tiller was the victim

so, by your standards of "Murder Is Always Wrong...", then you agree that the War on Terrorism is also murder. You also agree that capital punishment is murder. You must also agree that had the likes of Stalin, or Hitler been murdered, that too, would have been wrong. And if some US Armed Forces member come across Usama Bin Laden, you better pray that member doesn't murder him. That would be egregious! In this era of Obama, it's good to know there is another bleeding heart out there.

You have a couple of loose screws, Richard.

Get them fixed.

Richard clearly misses the definition of the term "murder"....and has loose screws.

That said, the President's statement on this also misses the point. We "disagree" on a "tough issue" (late-term abortion), but his murder is "heinous"? Not very even handed. I would argue both acts fall in the heinous category.

Richard:

War and the death penalty are entirely different situations. And, as horrible as the things Tiller did are, if you can't tell the difference between George Tiller (a private citizen) and Stalin/Hilter (high-profile, murderous dictators), you need help.

Tiller broke abortion laws with abandon. HE should have been convicted of breaking such laws. But not murdered.

Killing him was wrong and the nutjob who did it should go to jail...preferably for the rest of his life.

This murder is a detriment to the Pro-Life movement, and an embrace of despair
